Life in Alaska - part XXXII

I got a call from my daughter 2.5 hours ago, she was stranded far from home and her truck was gone. Don't know if it's stolen or what, but my baby girl was out in the wilds of Alaska in the dark, in a storm, and she was in danger.

By God, I was ready to kill.

I just drove 175 miles through pitch black, 80mph through howling winds and torrential rain, to bring her home. I got her safe, now I'm sitting here with gallons of adrenaline flowing through my veins. There will be no sleep for hours. It's pitch black out on the mountain, the wind is howling and the rain against the windows sounds like someone is throwing hand fulls of gravel.

It's a good night. Raaahhhhrrrrrrrrrrr

What a hair-raising story B. I don't have a daughter but my heart started to race while I was imaging the predicament that your daughter was in. I am so glad the both of you are now safe.

I'm just glad you got her safe Nanuq.

Personally I would not want to list what I would do to the lowlife who stole the car, I mean to take it in a city is one thing but out in the wild that's attempted murder.

Glad she is safe my friend. I also hope you don't find the low life that took the truck. I remember what you did to that poor noobmariner and it was only a crappy rep...

Gives me the shivers just thinking about it.
