Nanuq Posted August 27, 2012 Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 I got a call from my daughter 2.5 hours ago, she was stranded far from home and her truck was gone. Don't know if it's stolen or what, but my baby girl was out in the wilds of Alaska in the dark, in a storm, and she was in danger. By God, I was ready to kill. I just drove 175 miles through pitch black, 80mph through howling winds and torrential rain, to bring her home. I got her safe, now I'm sitting here with gallons of adrenaline flowing through my veins. There will be no sleep for hours. It's pitch black out on the mountain, the wind is howling and the rain against the windows sounds like someone is throwing hand fulls of gravel. It's a good night.
