gmtlover Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 So with some modification of the case it should fit? I would be really unique to have a working 3186 rep movt. Hope Yuki will make a standard Y3186 I think that would get a lot of attention..
jd1566 Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Can anyone comment on the reliability/quality of the latest batches of Y3135? This thread started in 2012 and the first versions seemed unimpressive with mediocre build quality and not clean, requiring an immediate strip-down and clean. How are the newer lot comparing?! Enquiring minds want to know.. :-)
janeto72 Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 still need to be torn down, cleaned, serviced and regulated.....
Pseudonym Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Will a Y3135 stem fit an SA3135? I've picked up the latter movement in an M2M deal next door but has a broken stem. Thanks P.

kbh Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 According to Ssteel the Yuki3135 stem isn't gen spec either.
SSTEEL Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) The stem also looks really close to the replacement 3135 stems that WSO sell, I wonder if they can be used as replacements... They look identical to the Seagull 2351 stem. Does anyone know if these Yuki movements are the same as the ones Angus at Puretime is now selling? The movement from Angus accepts genuine hands, dial, and date wheel too. I have one but having trouble locating a stem for it. I have already tried genuine Rolex 3135 stem, and aftermarket thanks to misiekped but sadly they don't fit. Edited May 12, 2014 by SSTEEL
misiekped Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Yuki 3135 stem is interchangeable with gen As far as sa3135 don't know as the keyless parts are fantasy
SSTEEL Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Yuki 3135 stem is interchangeable with gen As far as sa3135 don't know as the keyless parts are fantasy Your not wrong there, having a real hard time finding a stem for one, all I know is it accepts genuine hands, dial, and date wheel, but obviously not a genuine stem.
Pseudonym Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Ahh crap. It looks like I'll need to speak to Angus to get this movement up & running.
quaresma7 Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 HI guys, just read that you recommend to change mainspring, stem and setting wheel. Wich are the best after pieces?! Clarks?! WSO?!

quaresma7 Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Do you know if 3035 and 3135 uses the same datewheel overlay?!
misiekped Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Do you know if 3035 and 3135 uses the same datewheel overlay?! No it doesn't
quaresma7 Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 Do you know if the earlier rolex 16610 with 3135 uses DW with 6 and 9 open?!
watcher Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Posted June 17, 2014 No, 16800 with 3035 had open 6 & 9 and closed 26
Ephry73 Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 What watcher says. That also applies to the Sea-Dwellers that housed the same movement. E
quaresma7 Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 No, 16800 with 3035 had open 6 & 9 and closed 26Mm i think you're wrong. Here you have a 16610 of 1990 with old date wheel Linkhttp://www.hqmilton.com/watches/1990_rolex_submariner_16610 But those early 16610 uses 3135 movement?!
