cougar1
I purchased one, it is the 1911 Discovery Chrono. It was always a well regarded rep, so I was expecting a nice watch, the outcome when I received it was holy fk, this is a cracking rep!

brianpelooza
cheers guys, is just there is no recent post or reviews od ebel on the forums.... the discovery is the model that looks the part for me... any recomendations on which TD would specialize more on Ebel? DemonSlayer
I've owned both the BTR 1911 and the Discovery. Both fantastic watches for the money but the BTR slightly edges it for me in terms of build quality and looks, the bracelet is just amazing
genoint
If you want the 1911 Panda dial you won't be getting it new, they aren't available anymore. The black faced one is still available and I actually ought one from Tony a couple of weeks ago.
By-Tor
cheers guys, is just there is no recent post or reviews od ebel on the forums There are 2 high-end Ebel reps and I reviewed both. They're still the exact same replicas. How would the more "recent" reviews change anything? As Demonslayer says... BTR is amazing. It was one of the best quality reps I've ever had. GBOGH
Plus, Toro has a special running on several Ebel models, including the above panda model. Can't go wrong at $148. http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=425'>http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=

automatico
I bought two genuine ss/18k 'Classic Wave' Ebel watches...one on a strap for $30 and one with a bracelet for $40 plus one in parts free. No one cares much for them and I guess that's why they are so cheap...they are only 5mm thick. Rather have a 1911 but they still cost too much. The Panda looks good! 'Sonny Crockett' wore an 18k gold auto (El Primero) Sport Classic chronograph with gold bracelet on Miami Vice in the second season iirc.

cougar1
Very nice brian, looks like they fixed those wonky B's! I wonder is there any dealers selling the rubber straps separately, I don't think toro is. Thinking of picking up that panda version to add to the black. Hope the lot aren't sold out!
