Skywalker
No doubt an incredibly silly question, but is it safe to fly with a rep watch? Will the pressure change be bad for the watch parts? I know that genuine movements are safe; my issue is with Asian-made movements... PATerai
Do you think your watch is shipped by boat to your house? Edited December 4, 2012 by PATerai
Skywalker
Do you think your watch is shipped by boat to your house? No, I get that. I am not saying the watch will get completely destroyed. I am just wondering if it might affect the watch negatively. The only watch I've bought from overseas had an A7750 movement and came with the hacking mechanism activated.
sgtguk
Hi Rolexian pretty sure you will be fine buddy......unless your going into space.....then you'll need a Gen speedie
txcollector
Crystals can pop out do you seriously believe that? We are talking about way less than 1 ATM. Your eye balls have a much higher probability of popping out than watch crystals. Any watch would be fine on a plane. Don't even think about it. panerai153
the only problem would be a structual failure (Of the plane!!) and a sudden depressurization, at which time, worryiong about your watch crystal will be the least of your worries

Drummania
There was a case in Repgeek where someone's crystal pops out of his omega smp. If you are worried you can always loosen the crown to let air come out.
Nanuq
I think planes are pressurized to 8,000' so there's really no worry, except the rate of pressurization. Which is why God made HE valves. Don't worry about the watch. Instead focus those energies on the babe in 8A.

watchman12345
No problems, and customs/airport security aren't going to give a [censored] about the watch on your wrist either.
