Mike on a bike
Have a 1680 on the way in! Could someone tell me if a rivet bracelet would fit? Thought it would look nice will be putting on NATO or dealer Rolie canvas of course, just for change up.
freddy333
Depending on time period, the 1680 could have been fitted with any of these - Folded link 7206 with 80 end links Folded link 9315 with 280 or 380 end links 93150 with 580 end links Not a fan of Natos. alligoat
I guess the riveted 6636 is a little too early for a 1680. But they were used on the early 5513s and 5512s. 1680s theoretically came out in 1967, but really started showing up around 1969- the early reds. Around 1974 the dial went to white. Mike on a bike
Thanks Bud I am waiting for them to get back to me on extra links or I have to buy two. But after I take out 2 links it will still fit most normal people! If I get two will send you extra one for clasp, should fit you.

Were it me, I would not pay more than the price of a Yuki for that 1 or look elsewhere.

Mike on a bike
Well sent inquiry into Yuki although they are not for sale in any area of his site he has pics from customers with them on similar watches. I am hopeful he still has them.
gavidoc
Another option that us 1680's were offered was the us C&I rivet. Similar to the 7206.
Mike on a bike
Doc C&I rivet ? By the way guys Yuki discontinued 7206s .just got a reply.
alligoat
The C&I rivet was made in the USA by Rolex in the 60s and 70s to avoid the import tax- comparable to the 7206 - same flimsy quality. There's also the Mexican bracelets made for Joskes around the same time- still Rolex.
the_rymeister
Those ndt rivet bracelets look good, hopefully someone will chime in with better advice on these thanks for posting mike
Mike on a bike
Rymeister need the 20mm but with the 80 end-links right so confused on the ndt product and expensive. I figure it this way who would make that odd bracelet for them can't sell a lot, the guys over in China ! It may be the same quality as the cheaper priced ones. HartDoc
Doc C&I rivet ? By the way guys Yuki discontinued 7206s .just got a reply. If this is directed to me. I'll go for the 9315. If fact I'm looking for a gen one myself. The ones I found are either stretched to the moon and back or I have to rob fort knox. I just cant see myself paying $1000 for a very used bracelet. But if you can find a really good rep 9315 and put it on gen 580 endlinks for the SEL then get a nice gen clasp. I'll say thats the way to go. Edited December 30, 2012 by HartDoc
Stephane
I owned a gen 1680 with 9315...had to sell it for cash Currently redoing a "franken" 1680 and I would NEVER put a 1.000$ in a bracelet. I think the most reasonable and accurate would be a 93150 with 580 or even 501b. I don't see the point going totally off budget to get a folded unless you buy the entire 1680 gen which would cost you 5.000 max (if white of course). Just my 2 cents. But after spending a fortune in reps to make them as accurate as possible I am now looking at wearing watches I like to wear! If they are not 100% accurate, I don't care. Besides that who the fuck is going to look at your watch till the last detail except a ....RWG fellow member We should all stop to be insane and feed the sellers of the market with high price expectations. Once they will discover nobody is buying at 1.000$ they will come down to 750, then 500, then...and so on. We are the ones pushing the prices so high! Genuine buyers do not look for parts: they buy the full watch with the bracelet, hands, dial, case...papers...and don't care if it's a 93150, a 9315 and son on. Some photos from the gen and the bracelet...and the incredible date wheel
cjjoyce1
Doc C&I rivet ? By the way guys Yuki discontinued 7206s .just got a reply. My C&I from 1977 Note the holes in the rivet ends. Generally 30% cheaper than gen 7206's in similar condition.
