chris5264 Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I don't use with clear case backs,,,,but for the money....worth it.....every so often find that I really need one..
If you see Kay Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 yes I have, but you gotta watch out for sharp lug corners. I popped by ball that way.
Nanuq Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I'm too cheap to buy a sticky ball so I use a wad of duct tape.
panermaniac Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 It's all I use. $3 delivered from eBay.
NotColorblind Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Posted January 16, 2013 Awesome thanks for the feedback guys I will be sending my order in tomorrow. 1
Utheman Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I'm too cheap to buy a sticky ball so I use a wad of duct tape. With all the tinkering you do, Nanuq? You prob go thru a lot of tape. It's so cold there, it probably just cracks and breaks anyway. :-)
cougar1 Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Sticky balls are one of the best caseback openers, for some reason they open 99% of casebacks without bother, only the odd time they require a bit more than usual torque. No need for those ones that slip and put marks all over the place, they are a pita. I think mine came free from from a dealer with a watch purchase a few years ago. Great tool! Watchmeister Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I'm too cheap to buy a sticky ball so I use a wad of duct tape. +1. I always scratch the case or caseback with those fancy Bergeon adjustable caseback openers.
thealphabeta Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I'm amazed how good these are. I just bought one and they are so useful. +1 to scratching with the metal case back opener. Ball all the way Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
DeeCee Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Where do you get the sticky ball? Is that how they are titled on ebay?
Ephry73 Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Don't google sticky balls, you may not like the returns 1

Nanuq Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Three bucks, come on Nanuq break down and get one! Hey now, a guy's got to keep his Ammo Fund well populated, eh? Priorities!
burg650 Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I just got one and it's the next best thing to slice bread.
panermaniac Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I just got one and it's the next best thing to slice bread. I think it's better. I once tried to open a PAM187 case with sliced bread, it didn't work well. 1
