And another introduction for today :)

Last week I received my "accidently" orderd ultimate superlumed Sea Dweller from Trusty Time

Why accidently??...because I didn't even think about of ordering a Sea Dweller...but once I saw this beauty (whoever did that review I was reading...my wife hates you ;) ) I couldn't resist :D

This SD is pretty well made. The only flaw that came directly to my eyes is the crown...I already orderd one from TC :D

The second thing is the bracelet...they put on a 93250...a TC93160A is on its way :)

The watch runs like a champ with only 4sec + (Kello checked), is waterproof out of the box (100m they say...will let it being checked at Domis...) and has a pretty good PR of 35h :)

Well...nuff said...here are the pix...img_94423tf8f.jpgimg_9444uechj.jpgimg_9445rld0h.jpgimg_9446rscti.jpgimg_94489jiyt.jpgimg_9450zodxc.jpgimg_94519lfc6.jpgimg_9453wbd0o.jpgimg_9454vgiu0.jpgimg_94588nevh.jpgimg_9462v4dgc.jpgimg_9463jje07.jpg

Hi DocThor,

I am interested to get myself this beauty as well. I did some research and found this write-up regarding SD - http://petemillar.com/rolex/rolex.htm. Could you share, based on the review, how close is this rep to the gen? Thanks

Will this SD accept all gen parts? I'm specifically looking for it to accept gen insert and crystal. Thanks in advance and great looking watch.

If its the same construction as the first version then it wont take a gen crystal, on the gen the detachable rehaut fits inside crystal gasket, on the rep the rehaut just sits in under the gasket/crystal and the diameter is too large to fit inside a gen gasket

Well...the bracelet isn't that bad. It's just not as good as the TC is and since the TC is that cheap there is no reason not to buy it :).

For the bezel I've no clue. It looks so good I'd no intention to change it :)

Just google for TC blog and you'll find it.

I don't think one should go for the Swiss ETA offered from the TDs. They're most likely build out of old, crappy Swiss ETAs with Chinese parts. The A2836 would be the better choice since they are new :)
