The only thing wrong OTB with the 1911 is the terrible purple AR. With that fixed, this thing is stunning. Was complimented by a couple girls at the bar the first time out with the new double AR xtal.

GMT 2 I forgot about the terrific review ByTor wrote on this watch. He used the SS where I have the TT, which I think is really a good looking watch, and a very well made rep .

The "Pepsi" version, while a classic Rollie, is

not a watch I would buy for myself even though it seems to be hugely popular. Could be that I am more of a Coke person.
