lionsandtigers
Some of you know I have been seeking to build an almost entirely gen Pre Comex 5514 for some time now. After what feels like an eternity of searching, I am happy to report that the build is about to begin. Here is the parts list, some of these things were VERY difficult to obtain: - Gen Pre Comex Dial (without a doubt the hardest to obtain, pictured below) - Gen matching hands - Gen 1560 movement - Gen 702 crown/tube - Gen t19 crystal - Gen Bezel assembly - Gen service insert that will be swapped with a Gen period correct insert - Gen 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks - Prototype HH 5514 case and caseback which will go through some light softening this weekend I am very excited to have this together and have to thank HH and especially dbane883 for their help. Now onto the dial, which is not perfect, but perfect to me...

lionsandtigers
Get on it! I am I am, kinda nervous to touch the case but it needs to be done for this build. Would look odd having a shiny new case for a build like this...

Ephry73
Use 3000 grit fabric all around then repolish with the white rouge. I have a gen valve assembly if you really want to go crazy.
lionsandtigers
Nice Nanuq, good try I have very fine wet/dry sandpaper and a capecode cloth. Want to round out the lugs a bit as well as the cgs. Not gonna go crazy, just some light aging

freddy333
I see great potential, but how about a caseback pic? The Comex engraving on back is the key with these.
