IWC Big Pilot with gen dial fitted

Recommended Posts

Just finished fitting the gen dial I recently bought from Markiemark and hey presto, with a little bit of work and magic she is ready to be enjoyed, the change from 5004 rep dial to 5002 gen is significant, best get the hands now :)

Here you go.

This is a Peter strap that I had made in Brown Alligator with Orange stitching and Orange back, I think it looks really quite cool :)

Looks great. Two questions did your gen dial come with the metal trim around the date window on it, and is there any real way to tell a gen dial from a rep dial?

I have been looking for a fen dial and the ones I am seeing don't have the trim around the window.

Great link thanks Gregor.

My dial did indeed come with the trim on the date window and you need to really know what to look for to spot a gen dial, however you can as it is crisper, the number just so and you know it!

Funny you should ask that as they are all on their way to me with a new Black with white stitch and Orange inner strap from Peter to go with her! I will post photos in about a week I guess.
