There is a disclaimer on his website to beware of scammers using a similar website name!  I have had no issues at all with communications from him and via his direct email.

Trusty time indeed has proved to be one of the most reliable sellers in this forum...I bought mine from Andrew and the whole transaction was buttery smooth!

Newbs :)

I am sure customs are aware of the trick, but since these "toys" come from China they at not bothered with opening then. Were they coming from Colombia or Afghanistan they would be opening them to check if there is any illegal substance inside the watch inside the toy :p

A toy and a watch!! All I ever get mine in is bubble wrap and a polystyrene box.

To echo what others have said, find Andrew really good to deal with.

I'm yet to receive a xxxxx with a watch in it. In all honesty I'm a little disappointed. I will have to keep buying reps!

Maybe blank out the finer details in case this method looses it's effectiveness?

Glad you got your watch!

Hi Guys

I'm about to embark on my first rep purchase:  an iwc pilot, I'm looking at one of these below. I guess.. I'm just looking for reassurance. It sounds like this place is as reliable as any of the sellers listed on the fourm (and one of the few who has a site which is currently up!).

Buy with confidence - Andrew and the team over at Trusty do a great job and they ship (at least to USA) very fast (and free if you spend over $600) - I've placed several orders and have never had a problem - PureTime and Trusty are my go-to spots.

This is the one I got: http://tr88watch.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=78_134&product_id=105

which looks like the 1st link you posted.

VERY nice watch! I'm wearing it right now :)

Here the mod I did on it: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/172253-logo-repaint-on-iwc-pilot-chrono-top-gun-3789-v3/

Be sure to read around about the 7750 movement it has inside, because if you do something wrong with it you can easily break it...

Thanks guys. Well, I ordered it from TT! eagerly awaiting. One thing I did notice looking at the QC pics vs IWC website is that this one doesn't seem as black as it should but it might just be the pics. Anyway, can't be too picky I guess

Re: the 7750 movement, do you have a link I can read? or examples of things not to do :)
