flyr Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Did you check inside the toy? Did you use this website http://www.ttw888.com/ ?
Derek Mc Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 There is a disclaimer on his website to beware of scammers using a similar website name! I have had no issues at all with communications from him and via his direct email.
torobravo Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Make sure is the right website where you buy from, trusty is here for many years already, not a scam site
Corral Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Good thing you didn't throw it in the trash bin, eh? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
nasosn Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 Trusty time indeed has proved to be one of the most reliable sellers in this forum...I bought mine from Andrew and the whole transaction was buttery smooth!
geo1nah2a Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 Newbs I am sure customs are aware of the trick, but since these "toys" come from China they at not bothered with opening then. Were they coming from Colombia or Afghanistan they would be opening them to check if there is any illegal substance inside the watch inside the toy
Stayhot Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 Very interesting. Never heard of that kind of shipping.
Thrasher Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 That's Crazy cause I would of had a heart attack, But then again, who knows..Thanks for the insight
cosmosblau Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Andrew / Trusty has been extremely reliable for me.
pcardoza Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 7 watches from Andrew without incident! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
elloello Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Unreal I would of been WTF I didn't want a toy At least I know this now he!he! in the toy that's great Watch for me toy for the kids
Journeyman Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 A toy and a watch!! All I ever get mine in is bubble wrap and a polystyrene box. To echo what others have said, find Andrew really good to deal with.
dusk Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 I'm yet to receive a xxxxx with a watch in it. In all honesty I'm a little disappointed. I will have to keep buying reps! Maybe blank out the finer details in case this method looses it's effectiveness? Glad you got your watch!
Quadrant6 Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Hi Guys I'm about to embark on my first rep purchase: an iwc pilot, I'm looking at one of these below. I guess.. I'm just looking for reassurance. It sounds like this place is as reliable as any of the sellers listed on the fourm (and one of the few who has a site which is currently up!). http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_191&products_id=3420&zenid=51d5969128743c1649f19e78bd3110d3 http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_191&products_id=5146&zenid=51d5969128743c1649f19e78bd3110d3
Themillerdave Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Buy with confidence - Andrew and the team over at Trusty do a great job and they ship (at least to USA) very fast (and free if you spend over $600) - I've placed several orders and have never had a problem - PureTime and Trusty are my go-to spots.
GenTLe Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 This is the one I got: http://tr88watch.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=78_134&product_id=105 which looks like the 1st link you posted. VERY nice watch! I'm wearing it right now Here the mod I did on it: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/172253-logo-repaint-on-iwc-pilot-chrono-top-gun-3789-v3/ Be sure to read around about the 7750 movement it has inside, because if you do something wrong with it you can easily break it...

Well, I ordered it from TT! eagerly awaiting. One thing I did notice looking at the QC pics vs IWC website is that this one doesn't seem as black as it should but it might just be the pics. Anyway, can't be too picky I guess Re: the 7750 movement, do you have a link I can read? or examples of things not to do Edited September 6, 2014 by Quadrant6
