fitmic
Is there anything we as a community can do to make Watcheden from lying in their descriptions? Their website says Swiss 7750 movement when obviously it's Asian. I for sure don't trust a dealer who lies about a such fundamental thing as the movement. abat
Well as an individual our ultimate sanction against any dealer is not to buy from them. As a community it becomes about the T in TD and influencing the people responsible for granting that status.
jmb
I haven't looked at their stuff for a while but I seem to remember some watches being available (so they say) in either A7750 or ETA 7750. I really don't know for sure except the ones advertised as "Swiss" were considerably higher priced than the Asian version... But, after taking a look just now I see what you mean... asciwhite
Watcheden is where you go for bargain watches in the $100-200 range. If you want something better you better go another dealer!
Mike on a bike
Watcheden is where you go for bargain watches in the $100-200 range. If you want something better you better go another dealer! We all know they are the cheap go to guys, never buy anything else from them . I bought a bunch of Indy Daytona's from them for my buds going to the race two years ago, ran into one of them today still wearing running strong, 79 buck delivered go figure.
KB
Bait and switch, misleading descriptions or straight out lying by a dealer has never been tolerated by the Admin team. Whenever a member has solid proof of false advertising by a recommended (on board) dealer always take it to a team member. Ken
kernow
Well said KB, that is exactly how it should be. There'd be no point having TD's, they'd just become dealers who can get you 'something'.
bobandshawn
Seeing lots of complaints about W.E. on other forums as well.... ~B

The Dude
I had a terrible experience with WE the one and only time I bought something from them. I will never buy anything from them again and unfortunately can only recommend to stay away from them. kernow
Maybe time for the fora to review their TD status?
