The Submariner Conundrum

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I went to a Jewelry store today to try on watches, and some worker told me to check out ttw888.com for a cheap submariner. I'm trying to spend less than $250 on a replica of a newer Submariner. Can anyone give me advice or send me good replicas? Thanks

A jewellery store told you to go to a fake watch site? really?

And if I were you I'd search around the forum and try to find out what you want and do some reading before making your first post on the forum the dreaded "Who has the best sub"

Yeah, spend some time here and even over at TRF seeing which model you like, then come back here and do a search for that model number. After looking at a few builds you can see how far you are willing to take it. Some members here go all the way, to where it's basically gen everything. Others wind up just having out-of-the-box reps. It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. Welcome to the forum! :)

That Noob V1 from Torobravo is kind of outdated.

You can't go wrong with the sub from Trusty- it's a good starter watch at $168.

Would the starter watch from trusty be made poorly or would it be a solid piece? And is it worth paying the extra 100$ for the Swiss ETA movement?
