Beer In watch

Hey guys i gotta ask a guy spilled a Whole beer on my watch because he bumped Into me

My worries is not sure if its waterproof its a submariner so Cant just soak it In Water but cleaned it with a wet towel at The restaurant but does Beer damage The watch thinking about The sugar In beers

And this is why I had a "beer watch"   I always cleaned it with a slightly wet towel and worked fine. I don't think the sugar in beers can damage the watch. And if so it should be a lot more than the bit you spilled over the watch and you cleaned directly...

I can just picture it now... Ezio licking his Submariner in the bar and the girl asking "should I get you two a room?"  

 

Don't worry about it.  Salt in ocean water is tough on metal and a Sub is designed to withstand that. 

 

A little sugar is a good thing.
