PureTime Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 White and Grey dial updated, I am sorry the circular engraving does not show clearly in the pics but it does exist.
PureTime Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 All white and grey dial purchasers will have their BCE shipped today. For those purchased black dial, please wait for another 3 days, sorry about that (luckily least people ordered the black).
dvn Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Stick marker at 4 and 5 seems different than the rest in term of coloring. is that the way it suppose to be? My white dial is comming. Pleaset let me know when you have the tracking number for me. Keep up the good work Angus. What is the next GB?
b16a2 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) I think that is just the angle of the photo and the reflection in the chrome coloured surface. Edited January 30, 2007 by b16a2
Watchmeister Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 I gave in. Graphite on the way. After all, my Chrono Avenger has been lonely lately.
fletch512 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Will this be produced with the numeral marker dial in the future, or just the stick marker dial?
xelorrolex Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 (edited) Is the grey dial really GREY ? Looks more black to me but may be a picture effect !? I just like the dicrete and elegant contrast between the grey dial and the black subdials, so it is important for me Any opinion ? Angus, could you comment this ? thanks Xel Edited January 31, 2007 by xelorrolex

I just like the dicrete and elegant contrast between the grey dial and the black subdials, so it is important for me Any opinion ? Angus, could you comment this ? thanks Xel I too was wondering the same thing.... in the prototype pictures there was a clear difference between the grey and black. Now the grey appears to be black indeed. It almost looks like the graphite dial with a white ' Automatic' writing.... Edited January 31, 2007 by Rolexman
Watchmeister Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 It is very tough to tell. That is what scared me off from the grey. I have seen the grey gen and the dial looks lighter relative to the dial. But the AR coat and the pics make it difficult to tell.
shultz Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Is the grey dial really GREY ? Looks more black to me but may be a picture effect !? Oops, I ordered the gry dial. But I feel scary by watching the pics? It looks more black isn't it? Angus: When will the black dial with silver subdials will be released?
Rolexman Posted January 31, 2007 Author Report Posted January 31, 2007 (edited) After having seen this pics (I too ordered the grey dial) I rather would have got the graphite dial version.... I hope the grey isn't as black as it appears to be in the pics! Bummer. Edited January 31, 2007 by Rolexman

I hope the black isn't as black as it appears to be in the pics! Bummer. I am desperate to get an order in for this watch however despite PM's and emails I am finding it very difficult to get hold of Angus. Can someone please confirm the method they used to place the order... was their a link via his photobucket site??? or simply an email directly to him? Thanks in advance. Del....
