Hello everyone!

Long time watch collector, turned loupe maker.  I hope it is ok for me to post here - if not, please accept my apologies and delete this post.  :)

I will not comment on whether our loupes are worth their price (though I'd love to if you really want me to!), but if you have any questions as to what sets them apart from all others, what accessories will be coming for them, and how these loupes came to be, feel free to ask...

Cheers,

Alberto

Is 6x the highest magnification?   I typically use 10x and 15x loupes.

Yep, actually when I work on tiny details of the movements (like the hairspring) I even go for 20x.

It would be nice to have some budget models there... I mean... Good quality but maybe 2/3 lens and 100$...

For now, 6x is the highest we offer.  We are working on a 10x loupe, but I am not currently happy with the performance of the optical design we were able to get thus far (though to be honest I am in the minority here, as most people who have tried it are impressed), and I will only bring it out if we manage to put together something extraordinary.  No point making "just another 10x loupe" - we are striving for another disruptive game-changer, like our Model 01 6x loupe...

You are more then welcome here Alberto. It's a pleasure to meet you. Thanks for dropping in and THANKS for making what seems like the most advanced loupe/macro lens available today, way to go!! You have given us a new toy to play with, Merry Christmas to us all! :)

I'm able to get ok macros with the olloclip, but after taking my latest set I was left wanting more. The ca is terrible and I can't get a sharp enough image without post processing. Here's hoping this one takes my pics to new levels. I'll be the first one to buy a 10x when you finish developing it! It should still have the same number of lenses, just more magnification right?
