Corgi Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 $275,000 Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon I could stare at it all day long.
Tim Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 Jaeger LeCourlte Gyrotourbilion. Technical brilliance. Only 75 pieces made in 950 Platinum. Google it. Ditto. That leaves 73 left for the rest of the world. Maybe less since I think I saw some more messages with this one. /Tim
OrangeSpoon Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 (edited) my choice too. Jaeger LeCourlte Gyrotourbilion thats a beautiful watch!! Edited February 9, 2007 by tester
V Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 $275,000 Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon I could stare at it all day long. Wow.. I am hypnotised
hopeful Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 I'm sorry folks, you're all wrong (TTK is close). But the answer is:
jfreeman420 Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 @Jody.......a guy who wears two tone cowboy boots.....Italian high cut pants.....bootlace ties and asks me to find him the most iced out Jacob on the planet......should think twice about what is his everyday wearer.....! I never wear ties..........
Shundi Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 The other dream watch would, of course, be Cubby's Sub. Imagine the arguments you could end with that! "In Goldfinger, Sean Connery wore ... THIS one." Agreed!!!!
Guest SliceMaster Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 This would be my choice a GMT II Pepsi
Demsey Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Already have it. And don't really care what take 'TTK' may have had on the matter. I'm 50. That's only how far back 'history' has to be with regard to my old man's 6263. Speaking of which, as I am a newb here, did 'Pugwash' and 'TTK' have a history of jousting in the threads? Man, I would love a link to that heavyweight bout. My two fav British dry humourists. Oh, the humanity.
NORing Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 If I had an unlimited budget, I would have Tudor make me one of these babies in with custom 44mm case and a special in-house movement. Might be weird but it would rock my world for sure. I would probably be able to sell it for a couple of million $ in 2030 and retire in Spain as well if I needed the cash
Jurgenk Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 Just came across this old thread... I miss these entertaining exchanges. Wonder if Neil lurks among us these days... Today I would want a Breguet skeletonized perpetual calendar tourbillon... VC and PP have pretty amazing history behind them, but Breguet is just more appealing to me as a brand.
MJC Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 I have owned my dream piece, AP ROO Blue Scuba.. Stupidly flipped it, and now cannot find another one In an unlimited budget world? Probably a Ulysse Nardin Freak, or, AP Trulli
calatrava Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 It would have to be the Patek 5140 Perpetual Calendar.
sul Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 Probably smthing freaky... or maybe some nice elegant tourbillion... Blu Majesty Tourbillon MT3
bigbullykurk Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 With an unlimited budget, I think I've just fallen in love hot damn! wat a watch, is this repped? and whats the model?
georgegrasser Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 (edited) Rolex 116613 with Black Ceramic Dial. Only problem is I'll be 50 next March. As I age I'll probably want a 36mm Date-Just I suppose. Edited September 5, 2011 by georgegrasser
drury Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 Breguet Transatlantique full gold. Ok...make it platinum to avoid excess bling. nailed it!
calatrava Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 (edited) I guess if we're going the sky's the limit route, then the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2. http://youtu.be/N0z4CtMxA0w Edited September 5, 2011 by calatrava
gran Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Maybe a LANGE.....these watches just cant be repped
maxman Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 For everyday pratical use...probably a vintage speedy moon. For shits and giggles.
wat44 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 realistic: Bremont P51 extravagant: Seiko Credor Spring Drive Minute Repeater
