chronoluvvv Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 guess who walked the better part of 5 miles this weekend ?
droptopman Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 I hate work travel. Stuck in another airport. Should get home around midnight.... Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
Legend Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 Lunch today was sashimi. It was a feast for the eyes as well with feminine office ladies walking in and sitting on the high bar stools opposite my table.
Nanuq Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 I drove almost 400 miles today through the heart of Alaskan wilderness in near hurricane force winds and blinding sunlight on pure white snow. It was glorious. 1
dieselpower Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 I watched Top Gear, it had a review of the Eagle Low Drag GT E type. That too was glorious.
dbane883 Posted March 9, 2015 Author Report Posted March 9, 2015 My son left his iphone unlocked before being dropped off at school. My wife discovered that he is following big-busted russian stripper-type chicks on instagram and has a special browser that does not leave cookies/history. She is mortified. I will admit, that I am somewhat relieved. 2
droptopman Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 Beautiful outside today. Going to put the top down for the first time this year. That means cigars will be smoked on drive home from work
Nanuq Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 It's 10 below zero, there's a fire in the woodstove, the northern lights are out and the Laphroaig is telling tales of smoke and hearths. 2
dieselpower Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 I've started reading The Hobbit to my eldest son before bed time. Not sure who's enjoying it more, me or him. 'Nook sounds like he has got his own Hobbit hole. Cheers!
chronoluvvv Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 i am looking forward to the rest of the evening/night with a decanter of rum and Justified on the telly
Legend Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 What is a laphroaig please? Sent from Mars using tapatalk

Legend Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 Single malt scotch! Sent from my droptop using telepathy. Thank you kindly sir. I know I could have googled but I think the completely random post thread does make provision for posting one's thoughts.
POTR Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 My preference is Laphroaig 18, but Laphroaig QC will also do nicely.
droptopman Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Led Zeppelin's "Achilles Last Stand" is by far the most underrated Zep song and probably one of the best rock and roll songs ever produced. All four members at their very best. 10 minutes of pure listening pleasure. And against popular believe, the song is not about Greek mythology, drugs or the Vietnam war, it is about a vacation Plant and his wife took to Morocco. Actually most Zep songs are about their own life experiences...Does not matter how much I age I will always love listening to LZ.
droptopman Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 Yes go Dogs. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
dbane883 Posted March 18, 2015 Author Report Posted March 18, 2015 Buying a Crock Pot via Costco Online is both efficient and lazy. I don't like to line up.
