rwg.bz down?

Hi

I have been a (now VIP) member for several years on rwg.bz, but it seems I'm unable to visit the site for a few days now. Does anyone have any idea if this site is permanently down?

I sympathise. I was like a junky without a spoon when we were upgrading the forum. Try to see it as a holiday and hang with us until it's time to go home mate

When I first signed up (4 years ago now), I used to spend the majority of my time over here.

 

Most of my collection was acquired through this site.............then things started to change.

 

I don't know if it was purely my perspective, or whether the newer 'generation' of members were of a different ilk.

 

Almost every sale was a 'Franken' this or that..........and the asking price(s) purely unreasonable.

 

I let my VIP membership lapse and remained a paid member on RWG.bz as a consequence.

 

I'm starting to like this place again, especially after seeing so many of the other familiar refugees around.

I've noticed this too.  Add a genuine crown and it's a $1000 'Frankenstein'.

Caveat Emptor or a fool and his money. I know what I expect a franken to be and I know what the parts are likely to be valued at, I know because I read a lot right here. Anyone who wants to pay $1000 for a $500 watch isn't going to have to worry about me buying it before them.
