By-Tor Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 These DMB live performances are amazing. Live Trax vol. 2 (with Carlos Santana). AMAZING! What's your current favourite?
TWP Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Tor, Outstanding live performance given by DMB. I have a lot of his live stuff and they are all good. Nice choice mate

Santana's electric guitar is a great addition. And you're right... they're a LIVE BAND. The studio albums are completely meaningless to me. Cheers!

Pugwash Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Joe's Garage Just a couple of quarts of beer will make it so the intonation does not offend the ear ...

Admin Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Right now, this has been played a lot on my MP3-player.... Debut album by a sweet norwegian girl with a great voice: Christel Alsos - Closing The Distance http://www.rwg.cc/share/Christel%20Alsos%2...%20Distance.rar
tenacious_b Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 The best album ever, and it got very little recognition:
fotoman Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 The best album ever, and it got very little recognition: he did a good job with the james bond tune
Cucumber_Jones Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 The best album ever, and it got very little recognition: Chris Cornell's is an awesome album and very few people know about it. As far as Snow Patrol is concerned I think the first album is better but the 2nd is very good as well.
mkuhl2000 Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 If you dig progressive rock, then check this one out...
By-Tor Posted March 31, 2007 Author Report Posted March 31, 2007 Thanks for the tip mkuhl. I've heard a lot of good about Neal Morse... will check this one out. PS: Saw your avatar... I love Peter Gabriel-era Genesis... Wind and Wuthering, Selling England, Lamb, etc. "Seconds Out" is one of the best live albums I have. They're touring this summer and come to my hometown... but I'm not sure if I'll go. I've never been a huge fan of Collins... although he's a great musician. "Home by the sea" is the only magnificient song the Collins-powered Genesis ever did (just imho). But maybe I go... they can always play 2-3 old songs there. Cheers!!!
wan Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 The best album ever, and it got very little recognition: I really like Chris Cornell and think his solo album is great but Soundgarden was one of the best rock bands ever. I remember when i first listened to the album "Bad motor finger" I lost my [censored], and have never been the same since............cheers, Wan
doopey Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 I keep on playing this album, I just love it, makes me very happy.

I plan to take my wife and am working on backstage passes.
jfreeman420 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 I still have these two on heavy rotation: And this to mellow out to I just can't get into any new music out there. Every time i turn on the radio I want to throw up. maybe its just the south florida music scene, but I haven't bought a cd from an artist I didn't have a previous cd of for about 5 or 6 years.
b16a2 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Im listening to Biffy Clyro's first album alot at the moment -'Blackened Sky' I always listen to any of Muse's albums too, best band currently in the world IMO
