Rob1 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Looks lovely. Would it be possible to add the "missing" 3 o'clock marker be adding lume where it should be?
RWG Technical Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Posted April 15, 2007 Looks lovely. Would it be possible to add the "missing" 3 o'clock marker be adding lume where it should be? The lume is quite transparent, it could probably be done with a bit of paint, and then lume applied over it... I was not asked to add the marker so never gave it a second thought. RG

Or would it be better to get a gen dial and just ditch the one with the missing 3 marker.
RWG Technical Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Posted April 15, 2007 I returned the watch yesterday...so I can't do anything now... RG
Rob1 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) I returned the watch yesterday...so I can't do anything now... RG Oh well, maybe next time you get an SMP... Edited April 15, 2007 by Rob1
cornerstone Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 The reason I like daylight pictures, is that it shows the actual application of the lume. After all, most of us are not nocturnal, and will see the lume in daylight more than we will in the dark, so my goal is to have a nice looking application that looks acceptable in the daylight. This looks good enough to eat! Looks fantastic!
Watchmeister Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Now that is a stunning lume job. It stands up to a billionx scrutiny. Which is more than I can say for some of my gens.
ubiquitous Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 That's simply not a relume job... That's art work! Amazing results... Everytime I see a Ziggy lume, I am blown away...
fleed Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 there is no doubt....that lumejob is perfect. this are nice dials for reluming. thank you for the pictures.
HauteHippie Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Wow. The Zigmeister lume jobs are by far the best I've seen on this forum or any other. That SMP job does NOT look like it was done by hand!!

FxrAndy Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 there is no doubt....that lumejob is perfect. this are nice dials for reluming. thank you for the pictures. Nice webpage you do good work too.

tonibari Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Looks great, once I'm done moving I'll have to sent you my SMP chrono for some re-lume love. Toni
zetterdawg Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 wow... just wow. Can I ask a question - how much $$'s worth of lume is that?
RWG Technical Posted April 18, 2007 Author Report Posted April 18, 2007 See my website for all the pricing, it's in my signature. RG
SenileCoot Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 It's truly marvelous, indeed. In fact, it's so great that buying gen dial for over $100 seems like a waste of your art. I wonder how "addable" that missing rectalgle could be.
zetterdawg Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 See my website for all the pricing, it's in my signature. RG Oh I know about your pricing, I'm wondering about the actual cost of the materials. This is NOT to judge you - the work you do requires skills most of us will never have. I'm just wondering if that's $5 or $50 worth of superlume thanks!
KB Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 It's all been said Ziggy...............you're still the master Ken
