The lume is quite transparent, it could probably be done with a bit of paint, and then lume applied over it... I was not asked to add the marker so never gave it a second thought. After all, most of us are not nocturnal, and will see the lume in daylight more than we will in the dark, so my goal is to have a nice looking application that looks acceptable in the daylight.
