Congratulations, Nanuq! What a beauty! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Is this the SD you mentioned was in the works many months ago?

You may have found a worthy candidate for your T-39 superdome. :D

Enjoy!

Bob.... Amazing... Simply amazing...

Worth a small fortune.... Though the sentimental value of that one is something you just can't put a price on.

A very special watch....

All the best,

There must be something wrong with me because if I had that I would find myself reaching for the Dremel and the polish. I take it that that would be a bad thing. :bangin:

Now I see what you have done with your cash prize from taking 1st place in the Mr. Alaska contest! :D

What a gorgeous beast!! I am so very glad that your patience has paid off.

As mentioned before, this piece is the Holy Grail of vintage Rolex sports models. It is far beyond amazing, from a serious collector's standpoint as well from a casual collector's perspective.

Please take more pics (the more the merrier). And perhaps you can enlighten the masses as to how you reeled this big one in :)

Best regards from your pal Euno

Lesser men would have given up on bagging this blighter long long ago, but not Nanuq.

Time to spill the beans my friend, this is going to be a BEAST of a tale, I can tell....

Beautiful, Bob! And intriguing...By reading the cryptic responses above, I'm feeling like I'm the only one who doesn't have inside information on this project. I won't pretend I know what's going on, so I'm eagerly awaiting the details.

I wish I undertand it all (I tiried but the poem is too complicated for me) :wounded1:

It's an incredible story and, what else can one say, WEAR IT IN GOOD HEALTH.

Cheers

If it's true that a man can be judged by the quality of his friends, then you are in good standing, Nanuq.

Congratulations on this spectacular piece.
