AMK000 Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 ... there we go again. More money to spend My gf will ...... me
AMK000 Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 She don't need to know - she never asked ... she will find out. ... but I will bribe her with a nice trip somewhere. BTW: The classic IWC (42 or 43 mm) is called: "Portugieser F.A. Jones" You can see pics of the original here: http://images.google.es/imgres?imgurl=http...6lr%3D%26sa%3DG http://images.google.es/imgres?imgurl=http...6lr%3D%26sa%3DG
offshore Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Gee EL, Nice looking watches you've got coming. Almost got me reaching for my cheque book, although I'm more a gen guy now. We will look forward to seeing them in Offers, real soon. Best offshore
offshore Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 PAM rose...ufffff it is impresionant!. Yeh F*****g nice too!
swdivad Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Yeah, I don't like gold much, but that Rad sure is extra fine!!
Hok Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 (edited) i'm flying! i'm flying! because Aquatimer looks DAMN DAMN fine to me!! the real deal seems as if they get on with near-perfect discontinued models, maybe a nice Markx XV in a year or so? 39mm sounds a bit small to me ears, though. any IWC experts here? wow, the portuguese movement looks quite accurate, maybe the same or an asian rep? a shame that it isn't decorated... ryyannon Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Lovely pieces, especially the IWC 6498 But I can't seem to find the prices Am I looking in the wrong sub-forum?
thomasng Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Both those IWCs are sweet........ Bye bye money.
Pugwash Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 39mm sounds a bit small to me ears, though. any IWC experts here? It's the same size as the GST Chrono, apparently.
ubiquitous Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Eddie- Very nice! It's good to see some new stuff starting to roll out! Any idea if we'll ever see one of these guys? Hope all is going well... Best, Randy
Guest Sql_pl Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 The aquatimer is perfect. Too bad I never really liked this model. Jones.... I may think about it seriuosly. As for the gold Rad... I would actually prefer a PAM 140 rep - Gold Luminor case and carbon dial! It would rock!
Pugwash Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 The aquatimer is perfect. Too bad I never really liked this model. Close to perfect. Too bad they don't have it in Titanium.
archibald Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Awesome quality, as usual, eddie!! BTW, what's with number 117? Is that the universal "this is a rep" code the signature of the factory, or what?
Guest Sql_pl Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 The Aquatimer is already in the Dealer Section guys.
sye46 Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 the only visible difference i can spot from the photos are the that it is missing the "T" Swiss Made "T" on the bottom of the dial. otherwise, damn good copy

chrgod Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Does the Aquatimer have a screw down crown? According to Trusty's pictures of the Aquatimer in the dealers section it looks like the crown just pulls out..?

Richard Tracy Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Those Aquatimers are gorgeous ! I can't decide between the black or white.. Black seems more uniform, but the white has those beautiful gold hands and accents. Maybe both ???

Black seems more uniform, but the white has those beautiful gold hands and accents. Maybe both ??? Most of my watches have black dials. So I ll probably get the white one. The gold hands are so cool.
ratchpot Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Any idea if we'll ever see one of these guys? If only BilloDavio was here to give us another update....
