Watchmeister Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 I heard the same thing from another dealer as well - end of the month. Rubber is supposed to come first.
Pugwash Posted October 9, 2007 Author Report Posted October 9, 2007 I have so very nearly spent my Aquatimer money on another watch, but my will-power seems to be holding out. When the Seadweller is released, that'll be a real test of will-power, however.

rek001 Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 Bah! I've given up waiting, when it comes it comes, I'll have to wait some more anyway - I really want it on bracelet.
yellomen Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 When the Seadweller is released, that'll be a real test of will-power, however. same here!!!!!!!
eunomians Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I'm still waiting, but I admit that I've made some purchases in between that I promised myself that I wouldn't do
yellomen Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 i am doubting if i should by a B&R BR03 in PVD ... just as something to keep me happy for a little while...
AMK000 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I would like to see that IWC Aquatimer very much ....... but I am afraid there is a long waiting ahead (for me at least). Let's assume that comes out around Christmas time , ....... then another 6 months to settle down and correct all faults .... we are talking Spring to summer 2008 :-(
z3k0 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 i am doubting if i should by a B&R BR03 in PVD ... just as something to keep me happy for a little while... No, it doesn't help - I got myself one, white-on-black dial. It kept me happy for few days, but then I see this thread and it all goes away ... Especially when I realized that they messed up case thickness - it' much thicker than the real thing. And crown is really crappy ... and it seems it is general problem, since I got one for my friend with orange-on-black dial and it had same crown problem. regards
Pugwash Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 If I get this job I've applied for, I'll get the Millionsmart Turbo. Otherwise, I'm waiting for this Aquatimer.
eunomians Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Screw all this waiting, I'm going out and buying a Breguet La Tradition today
yellomen Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Is waiting for the aquatimer chrono hard? No... doesn't affect me ...
Chronus Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 I've been waiting on this one too, and then decide which one is best of the 'Timers..... taking too long but i cant afford to be impatient i guess.
a german in denmark Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Josh has it on his site now, available in two weeks, he claims. It's looking good, but it has a misaligned day/date problem and the day/date fonts are not very strong, as far as I can see from the pictures on his site. So it's on to Cousins' once again for new wheels...
Watchmeister Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Unfortunately, I think Josh has had it on his site for quite a while. We are all hopeful that it will come out towards the end of the month though.

a german in denmark Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Its been 2weeks on josh site for like 2months Oops, didn't know that. Still, the day/date wheels; I hope they are better than the ones on my 3717...
ahchard Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 are we still waiting for this watch??? haha...
Pugwash Posted October 17, 2007 Author Report Posted October 17, 2007 Ok, I'm kidding. I know. You're 2nd in the queue behind me.
tutima Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Latest update... Talked with Angus last night. The Aquatimer shall be released within November as the manufacturer told him. In time for Christmas....I hope.
chrgod Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 What will happen first; This thread reaching 10 000 hits or Pugwash receives his Aquatimer...?
