ShawnBeever
Very nice. Is the case tube mounted in the middle of the watch or closer to the bottom?
Stephane
what did I say before... That watch is growing on me badly ! Looks promising Tribal. One question though: is this an easy to find MBW ? Does it come from MBK ? Cheers Stephane

$tingray
Wow that sure is a lovely watch... Great work indeed Looking forward to more pics when job is finished. It could be the angle but It looks that the CG at right is little bit thicker... Have a nice weekend! /J

Dizzy
Wow that sure is a lovely watch... Great work indeed Looking forward to more pics when job is finished. It could be the angle but It looks that the CG at right is little bit thicker... Have a nice weekend! /J Its prob because the tube hole in the case wasnt centered between the guards when it was made. I have a few subs and they are all slightly off. I guess all you can do (without having a gap on the side of the crown) is to sand down the outside of the one crown guard... Tribal
Great work D... just as usual. That CG's look very nice... but they are damn out of size - the right one is MUCH bigger than the left one, that is very bad, an easy giveaway!!! Seriously - even in many gens, CG's are often heavily different in size, but this one looks very nice... Very symmetric, and the difference some see is probably just created by the angle of the pic or by the crown not being screwed down evenly with teeth aligning. Hi O, The right side of the case is much thicker on the CG's from factory... This side must be shaped more from the outside... It's about 0,2 mm larger yet. So it's just the angle of the pic. But this pics are from the working progress not finished yet. They where only to show the work progress as i stated before.. Also the Tube is not installed properly... But i see you have sharp eyes my friend... By the way when you look at a gen case, the right CG is much bigger, thats the reason i think, they make it from factory totally wrong... freddy333
Tribal -- Your CGs look excellent. In fact, I pay particular attention to NOT make them exactly the same. About 1/3 of gen watches have uneven CGs and lugs (the lugs are often different widths, which is why some springbars stick out & some do not). Sometimes, they come this way from the factory, but, more often, especially in the case of vintage watches, it is due to successive polishings over the years. eunomians
Lovely work as per usual, my friend. On a side note: The 5513 is the world's most perfectly balanced zen-like oddly symmetrical study in minimalism. It is an intellectual, philosophical and engineering marvel; and as such, it remains wholly perfect. Truly a timeless classic. Pick up an OEM 5513 before it's too late!
