Victoria
MONDAY Quelle ironie se trouve dans ce sujet! Right, Stephane? The irony here is a Black Seal Radiomir Panerai honouring the "maiale" torpedo sailors of WWII, next to a "No Diving!" sign. This is my newest Radio on an OF Mario Paci cognac strap (note, waterproofed, so hah). TUESDAY Guys, sometimes we have to put away our beloved reps, no matter how modded, and babied over, to take out the real bling for special occasions, like today, my birthday, woo! A close-up of my heirloom solid gold Omega ladies watch...which belonged to my late maternal grannie, whom I adored. Thanks, Omi!

Stephane
Ironie Mademoiselle V ? With 24 hours advance, allow me to wish you a very happy birthday It's marvellous to be able to wear your Grannie's watch. You are a lucky and happy child In my familly, it seems nobody could pass any watch to the next generations except my mum. So, as it is a woman's watch, it's my sister who have it of course, which I'm very happy. She could not wear it though...it's a JLC Joaillerie platinium (with diamonds on the bezel as far as I remember). Too old fashioned and precious probably for a daily beater I have no genuine bling watch myself to wear tomorrow to celebrate your anniversaire . I will see what special I can do. In the meantime, today, it's this one : Cheers Stephane

Stephane
Dear All, Some times you change your mind, isn't it, and say "Ok, I have to wear this one now" And, when a package arrives from TTK, well I can't control myself . . I open it ...hoping... . . ...that it will contain the watch I had so much difficulties to decide to get ! . . It is ! Yipeee. . . The minute I saw it and touched it, I knew it was something special. . . So I had to take two quick pictures (sorry for the bad quality, it surely doesn't give a correct image of what it is in person). . . So, I'm happy now: . . I have an Audemars Piguet (1875) and it is a Royal Oak Jumbo (MBW) . . And will have a classy new watch to wear tomorrow too for Mademoiselle V's Bday (it has GOLD screws) . . Here we go: . . Cheers Stephane

Cheers Stephane hey Steph, I actually have this very same watch on my "list" quick questions -what color is the dial you got? blue or black? --does it have double-sided AR? -----how does the AR compare to say.. the Steelfish if you have that thanks ^^
Stephane
hey Steph, I actually have this very same watch on my "list" quick questions -what color is the dial you got? blue or black? --does it have double-sided AR? -----how does the AR compare to say.. the Steelfish if you have that thanks ^^ Hi Tom, After hesitating and getting some advice, I went for the blue one (thanks Ubi!). AR: I have no idea how to judge that. Again, the only obvious AR I saw on reps are the Fer002, the UPO, the 3717... But compared to a gen blue Breitling Avenger AR it's very very light on the AM reps. The MBW AP RO I didn't really look at that, and for sure won't say if it has single, double or strong AR. Honestly, I don't really mind about that. What I can say is that it seem to have AR to me but more important it looks/feels very special on the wrist. Like having your first gen after 10 reps...strange feeling. I now understand what Ubi, Euno and other a lot of other members are trying to pass to non AP RO MBW owners. = GET IT ! Cheers Stephane PS: there is a bracelet issue for small wrists. Check Ubi's thread.
