jonas Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Wow you realy dont have a serial number, aparet from that it looks fine, but can any one explane the yelowing around the markers and number s, is it just a reflection? a reflection with that AR??? I have seen this on a few other pictures here on RWG too. Seems like the golden rings around the hour markers reflects on the white dial. On other members watches this phenomenon is not present. I always fooled myself thinking the other pic's were Photoshopped but now I'm worried. It should be a swiss from the information I was given, have no reason to believe anything else, AR seems fine to me, but no expert I am... Here are a few pictures that I recieved before purchase, is this a 'normal' SOSF or is it a freak-watch?
FxrAndy Posted October 28, 2007 Author Report Posted October 28, 2007 Wel i cant get mine to look like that, maybe Pugwash knows why it might be a photo thing
jonas Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Wel i cant get mine to look like that, maybe Pugwash knows why it might be a photo thing These pics were posted in the "let's see your Breitlings" - tread. Same thing I think..?
Omega Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 The same appearence has my SOSF, too. I think it is a AR reflection, because on certain light-surroundings it seems to be normal.
dluddy Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Mine is ETA and I have the same effect. I first nticed it on the beach one day and thought the markers heated up and scorched the dial. It is just the way the light gets reflected and nothing more. In certain lighting it is perfectly polished SS
