Stephane Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Hi All, I'll start this one with a long time not worn watch Cheers Stephane and my ex-wife's wrist (she still have her jewels!)
scoobs1971 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Since I'm going on a short vacation to Poland this will be on my wrist for the next few days: Lorenz Theatro Chrono @stephane: this baby looks very good on you! I know you are considering selling, but mayby you'd better reconsider
Victoria Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 WEDNESDAY Today, I'm taking out my beloved gen USSR-made Poljot watch! Yes, similar to the one worn by Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin himself into orbit!! I have a cuter Wristie than he did though. ...okay, okay. He actually wore this, the famous Schturmanskie. But even my intense dislike of Commies doesn't prevent me from loving the Poljot and its history. Oh and the Russkies also made an excellent rifle, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. To echo Judi Dench as "M": "God, I miss the Cold War." THURSDAY It's hot hot hot in Miami this October!! (33C) And that was at 5 PM, too. And when you mention heat and wristwatches, you have to think of Panerai. My brand-new, very first cognac Strapmasters strap on the DSN 112. Hotness. Yarrrrrrr!! You know those drivers who approach a Toll Plaza and they're fumbling with their wallets UNTIL THE VERY LAST MINUTE? Well, I hate those people. Ex-Girl Guides are ALWAYS prepared! @Stephane: Nice Mont Blanc! And I see the ex-Missus Stephane got to keep the jewels...ah well, I hope you got to keep the dog. @Scoobs: You'll be missed. Have fun in Polska! (The Polish connexion on RWG is amazing, no?)
By-Tor Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Decided to wear this one after a while.
maxmilian Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I guess I was in the same mood @pix Lovely, I have to get a patek at some point. @vic nice strap !!
TeeJay Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 But even my intense dislike of Commies doesn't prevent me from loving the Poljot and its history. Oh and the Russkies also made an excellent rifle, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. To echo Judi Dench as "M": "God, I miss the Cold War." I love Communism! Communism is Awesome!!! It just doesn't work Okay, so the 127 didn't make it for my birthday (wasn't really expecting it too, but oh well, it'll be here by the time I get back from my mini-vacation monday) So, as I've had on for the last few days, and will continue to wear until the 127 has to take up permanant residence on my wrist, I've been wearing my old favorite
Pugwash Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I've been exceedingly boring for about a week and have been wearing this one a little too much. So, today should be no different.
dluddy Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Wednesday: One of the most beautiful Panerai models made IMO; PAM 063 On Europelli Oxblood Shell Cordovan Strap.
Pix Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 B&R for Me Jiro, that B&R rocks with this strap ! It just makes it unique. Excellent choice !

Stephane Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 As everyone seems to love Baume et Mercier right now...remember this one is genuine and for sale
TeeJay Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I decided to wear my 2220.80 SMP today, afterall, it's a watch I bought myself for myself, most of the others are ones either bought for me, or with money I received, (I didn't want to wear my X-33 or GMT Sub) so I felt it was time the 2220.80 had a little wrist time
Victoria Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 B&R for Me Of all the Bell & Rosses I've seen in the Wristchecks, this is the best. Not even Xim's excellent versions made me go "wow". Maybe it's the strap. And you already heard on 'Geeks what I think of Mrs. Jiro's Cartier. Let me repeat:
Mark Eleven Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Today I'm wearing my new vintage DRSD.
Pix Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Of all the Bell & Rosses I've seen in the Wristchecks, this is the best. Not even Xim's excellent versions made me go "wow". Maybe it's the strap. It surely is !
