IMO, better off with the new 14060M which received the COSC certification and the new dial at least, bears a resemblance to the 5512. I must not have fully acclimated to it yet, because I find it hard to ignore. It is like the advertisements that broadcasters put in the corners of our tv screens during all programming (except for the commercials, which remain 100% clutter free). EDIT: Now that I’ve had time to mull it over, I don't think it’s a move against counterfeiting. For one the etched crown on the crystal is an example of Rolex thinking about subtle design and secondly, the rep manufacturers are already tooled up to do this type of work. They must want to bring the Subs and the GMT’s a little closer together, or could it be it may cost Rolex less in the manufacturing process some how.
