HauteHippie Posted February 15, 2008 Report Share Posted February 15, 2008 Guy I know has a turbo charged Z28 that maxes out the dyno at 2500 HP. He runs 7.8 - 8.1s in the 1320' all day long. He took $15k at the last event he entered and was 0.05s behind at the finish in the final run, but had about a 0.08s faster reaction time, so took the race and the event. flamemax Posted February 22, 2008 Report Share Posted February 22, 2008 I'm more of a motorcycle guy myself. Was riding a beefed up V-Max for several years. I am currently in between bikes. Next bike will be the Hayabusa with a 1.3l engine. it WILL get modified and a swing arm will be stretched and a turbo kit will be added bringing this beast up to about 375hp at the rear wheel on about 500lbs wet. this shoudl all be comong together come summer. PS don't get me wrong, I love cars as well, but to get the same HP to weight ratio in a car would cost wlll over 70,000.
