By-Tor Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 One of the watches I never initially liked, but after getting this one for a review from Narikaa, I was sold. This watch really surprised me, and I bought it immediately. The rep is very accurate... best value for money rep I ever bought. Here's mine, let's see yours!
jfreeman420 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 My picture is nowhere near as good as yours. Notice the 9:00 lume is gone on the SS Yacht. It used to be there. I have no idea where it went. Not inside the case or anything. Wierd
longshot Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 mine should be here any day from eurotimez... and it is all by-tor's fault
robertk Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I have two. The first, a swiss eta version, purchased from Eddie Lee 2 years ago. Lately, I have been paying attention to the quality of the new dials and recently purchased one from Narikaa with the Asian movement, assuming real improvements. You be the judge:
musicale Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I just traded mine having never worn it. I would have kept it if it was available with a sterile dial.
DemonSlayer Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 mine should be here any day from eurotimez... and it is all by-tor's fault Same here! It will be the second rollie in my collection.
jfreeman420 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I just traded mine having never worn it. I would have kept it if it was available with a sterile dial. I have never seen a dial infect anyone.........
TwoTone Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 This is one of my favorite Reps... Gets plenty of wrist time... Double T
Corgi Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 This is my father's custom "arctic" yachtmaster its his top favorite watch he wears it everywhere even though personally I like his omega GMT seamaster professional way more...
rodwc Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Not really warmed to it so far, don`t really know why. Swiss ETA 2836-2. Tho, I am impressed with the white dial version.
scoobs1971 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Here's mine. Still a beauty, although I only wear it on special ocassions. Bought it from Angus and recently replaced the dial for the updated version which is less yellowish.
Guest porsche356a Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Here's mine, can someone guess whats special about this one?
plaifender Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 here's mine. Only take put it on when I dress up. It's weird how tastes change. When I first got into reps this is the watch that got me started.. Now it gets the least wrist time of all my reps. It's definitely a keeper though.. and ohh soo smooooth
By-Tor Posted April 21, 2008 Author Report Posted April 21, 2008 Just shot this one. I'm not very happy with this photo technically, as the corners are rather noisy... but it shows the "sparkling" effect on the Noob YM dial quite nicely.
PAMman Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 I have the Asian 'Noob' Yachtmaster and I didn't really think that I would like it, but I do. So far the movement has been fine but I am not a big fan of Asian movements. If it dies what's the options? Is there a good quality replacement readily available? I also have a new ETA 2892 and a set of ETA fit Yachtie hands - any prospect of fitting it in here?

tanya Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Here's my Gen along with my other gen cousins and some Pam rep friends in the front
ximenes Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I opened my rolex collection to share my Yacht-Master but when I looked at them I noticed, I don't have one. xim
By-Tor Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Posted August 4, 2008 Let's bump this one... I don't have the Yachty anymore, I gave it to a forum friend... but here's one photo left... I'm not sure if I've shared it before.
jjfesq Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 I wear mine almost every day. It's a gen and the wedding present from my wife! Most comfortable watch I own.
