takashi Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Great preview of the night and glad that you have made connection with him Congrats my friend!
UncleJay Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Philippe Boney is a great guy. We spent much time in Geneva, lunches, and dinners. My time hangin' with both he and Angelo Bonati were fantastic. BTW, Philippe was president of Piaget before Panerai.
yellomen Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 WOW that sounds like a most excellent evening!! And how great it is that the president of Breit is such a cool guy
Rolexman Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I would have switched as many reps as I could wear up my sleeve with gens.... sneaky me
teddy boy Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 So you know you buy entirely too many GEN Breitlings when you get an invite to have cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dinner with the president of Breitling USA. They'll be unveiling the new pieces from Baselworld '08 here. It's limited to 100 people, so I should be able to snap quite a few pictures if they'll let me! I'm wearing my GEN 6.75 for this occasion. I contemplated wearing my HBB (b/c it's so damn good) If I can snag some Breitling swag, I'll auction it off and donate the proceeds to the board! Cheers! I was invited to a similar event in Charlotte NC. I decided that I would feel some obligation and probably end up buying a watch that I don't need and can't afford so I declined the invitation.

anton Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 (edited) Glad to see I'm not the only one "green" with envy. It must be extraordinary to be the select "one" of a few they pick to attend these events. Looks like I'll have to stop buying my gens on 47th [street] now, eh? Edited June 12, 2008 by anton
flyby75 Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Sounds like it was a nice evening out...Nice one!
JuiceMaker Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 sounded like those "rich" people don't wear Brietlings... hhhmmm.
RobbieG Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Did you wear the canal street yachtmaster rep with the pink MOP dial and diamond indices like I suggested Millster?
