Nanuq Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I bought this new watch, a Gerber and the temperature feature doesn't quite work right. Can you tell me which piece to adjust?
P4GTR Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Turn that small round one to the left a tad. That's really nice looking. More pics?
houndoggie Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I bought this new watch, a Gerber and the temperature feature doesn't quite work right. Can you tell me which piece to adjust? It seems that the mercury level is low, you might want to top it off a bit.
Nanuq Posted November 24, 2008 Author Report Posted November 24, 2008 I thought maybe it was the toroidal flangellator, but that messed up the sea level subdial??
houndoggie Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Just take it to the local mall kiosk, they'll fix it no problem.
Nanuq Posted November 24, 2008 Author Report Posted November 24, 2008 Ahhhh, pictures of the front. Enjoy! PS: you do understand, this is all tongue in cheek? That watch likely cost more than my house.
slickdick Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Holy dog, the mother of all watches
siesta181 Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Sweet watch dude.... Does it cure cancer too????
Toadtorrent Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 PS: you do understand, this is all tongue in cheek? That watch likely cost more than my house. It sucks anyways...it's neither black, nor a diver...nor beat up.
ubiquitous Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Ahhh. Lord A's watch. The most complicated piece in the world, iirc and the only unique piece of it's kind. Amazing work... That one has been through a number of iterations in it's life time...
Nanuq Posted November 24, 2008 Author Report Posted November 24, 2008 Amazing work... That one has been through a number of iterations in it's life time... I wonder if he's had the CG's reshaped? They look pretty good to me.
Toadtorrent Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I wonder if he's had the CG's reshaped? They look pretty good to me. Those crappy CN rep makers screwed up the dial printing though. If you'll note, the days of the week are in French, but the months are in English. When will they get a simple thing like this corrected? I would be up for the Ultimate release in PVD when it comes out next month.
freddy333 Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I would have just banged the damned thing against the side of the sink a couple of times. That usually gets things moving in a different direction.

Guest Dr.TuB Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 is this watch a gen or a rep!? where did you get it!?!?!?
ubiquitous Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 That is a one of a kind gen and owned by one of the purists. It's been a collaboration project that started as an FM and has been modified and further added to by Paul Gerber...
Nanuq Posted November 24, 2008 Author Report Posted November 24, 2008 Okay I took out the screw and now I have this. I think I liked it better before.
emuozz Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 I think I liked it better before. mmm me too... looks too much scattered to my taste now
