lanikai Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 I see what your saying about the ISO SWEEEET ! Saturday...
Demsey Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 a gen Solid caseback and correct Gen bracelet clasp to finish it off... Wow, that's the ballz. Gimme a pic from the backside................solid. Yeah.
Pix Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Love this watch! What is where can I get one? It's an Observer (Pilot) watch, 42 mm, made by a German assembler. All parts are made in Germany, except the movement, which is our well known Asian 6497. http://www.schuhren.de/English/index.html You can choose your case, movement, finish etc... Highly recommended, believe me
dluddy Posted January 10, 2009 Author Report Posted January 10, 2009 Wow, that's the ballz. Gimme a pic from the backside................solid. Yeah. Here you go!
Demsey Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Here you go! Serious replica jealousy going on D. What a great piece! I would covet that over a DW 6263. Never let that one go........................ For the noobs, some pics of the gen (not mine, I wish!)
Demsey Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Still running strong: Hey Doc! One of the nicest 16520 sec @ 9 on the boards. The 'full gold' does a good job of camouflaging the subdial issues. Share where you sourced, there was a post here recently inquiring as to where the older issue Daytonas could be found....................
Stephane Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 You can choose your case, movement, finish etc... Highly recommended, believe me Hi Pix, good to see you back here. I hope you'll post more of your great pics in the wristies in 2009 I saw this one yesterday evening, in Karlovy vary (Karlsbad)...I attest: great looking watch and saw even more models, they are very impressive! Lovely Speedy D. My wrist check today is a bit special. "My name is 16800. . . Rolex 16800" I'm attending the GTG this week-end, and as part of the package we could discover shooting with "real guns". First time for me and god I was very scared but it turned better than I imagine. So, here is my 16800 and a Glock
vlydog Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 "My name is 16800. . . Rolex 16800" Where are the Rolex girls Stephane? Have fun this weekend. I wish I were there!
Stephane Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Where are the Rolex girls Stephane? With Laz around ...No chance to get a girl man....I have no idea why (Laz is so ugly) but all the gilrs are around him It must be his charming accent...mine is probably to Froglish
tmg Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 It has to be this today since it just came back with a facelift -here are a few quick & very dirty shots:
AllergyDoc Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Hey Doc! One of the nicest 16520 sec @ 9 on the boards. The 'full gold' does a good job of camouflaging the subdial issues. Share where you sourced, there was a post here recently inquiring as to where the older issue Daytonas could be found.................... Hi Dems, I got this from Silix for less than $200. It came on a lousy bracelet that began flaking at 2 months. The replacement was a significant upgrade and I've no issues whatsoever with it.
freddy333 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Wow, that has to be the Zigmeister's work. I would have thought it gen if I saw it anywhere but here. I guess you will be having a great weekend from here on....... Back to the beater for me today on this cold & rainy Saturday
dluddy Posted January 11, 2009 Author Report Posted January 11, 2009 I has to be this today since it just came back with a facelift -here are a few quick & very dirty shots: Wow tmg. I know that started life as a Silix vintage but what else have you and RG done here? Gen Gilt dial? Simply beautiful
Shundi Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 @ bossart: I like that ML I've had this on the last few days...
lanikai Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Avenger Seawolf .. "Yellow Submarine" ala CF ~
Harley357 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Wearing this one today with a new Maratac G10 strap I just received.
vlydog Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Still thinking the gen Kevlar is the best match with the 3717.
Niclas Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Still thinking the gen Kevlar is the best match with the 3717. This is perfect
tmg Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Wow, that has to be the Zigmeister's work. I would have thought it gen if I saw it anywhere but here. I guess you will be having a great weekend from here on....... Wow tmg. I know that started life as a Silix vintage but what else have you and RG done here? Gen Gilt dial? Simply beautiful Thanks Freddy and DL! The 1675 hasn't been off my wrist all weekend. The facelift I referred to is a redial by CWP on the Silix base since a gen dial is too small for the case. I'll post up some more pix at some point this week. Here's one more shot of the gilt glossy dial:
dluddy Posted January 12, 2009 Author Report Posted January 12, 2009 I love the way that came out TMG
