I don't know if it's gen or rep, but I wouldn't mind wearing it, either way. This model is super cool (although I'd prefer it with a steel bracelet).

Still waiting for Ubi to weigh in on this one... I know what he's going to say. ;)

Franken with a 552 movement (although the difference in color of the rotor/bridges could be a franken movement...or discolouration due to poor servicing)

It's the real thing. Six and Nine are open. A newer caseback, bezel is correct with the slightest flat top on the four. The one is a stick which was on the first generation of this case produced right after 165.014. They then went to a little left top on the one. Good fake inserts have fat numbers and a slightly larger triangle in the insert.

The large triangle dial is rare without the military T but was available.

Chuck Maddox and I discussed this a long time ago (RIP Chuck).

You're exactly right. This looks fishy. The watch photo is of a gen but the whole deal is looking like fraud.

Thanks for the astute investigation. :cc_detective:

I have had a few of these and I don't recognise any of the usual teltales of a fake. It may be a franken but I certianly would but it if I was certain that I would receive the watch in the pics.
