steelerfan Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Has anyone seen the quality of watches that Costco, of all places is now offering? Just thought you guys in th market for a gen may want to check it out. I believe they are all grey market and ofer no manufacturer guarantee, but the general manager of my local store said they will simply give you another watch if anything goes wrong with any of their pieces. Unbelieveable Here is the Link
thomasng Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Unfortunately the prices don't seem to be that much of a discount, and they can probably be obtained from ADs for around the same price or even less. You may be surprised what discounts ADs give.
HighDef Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Wow! Iv'e seen some of the watches in Costco stores, but I did not know they carry those $20K plus watches. I guess you just have to order it cuz they do not put it on display.

Category 5 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 $1400 for a Moon Watch with an "unlimited" warranty. Sounds good to me. honestly. you could walk into Costco in 3 years and say the watch is 5 minuytes fast per month and they'll gove your money back to you...or a new watch.
cwai02 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 But you can exchange it in a few years if you find a problem with your watch.
Willith Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 I never expected to see a PP available from Costco. I guess they have a nice selection of artwork too according to my wife.
tenacious_b Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 yeah, the other day, i was in Costco in Austin, TX, and they had the Brietling Bentley for $5580.00 and various other nice watches. That's the first thing I look at when entering costco......that and the big screen TV's.
KB Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Look someone throw something at me if I'm way off base, but is this a rep? There's also another Timewalker there with the uncut 6 as well Ken
Bignasty Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Very cool as there isn't even a Breitling or Omega dealer in my area, not to mention half of the higher end stuff pictured there. Sam's club usually has a few Omegas but nothing much else high end. I'll be stopping by my Costco soon to take a peak! Cheers, Jon
jfreeman420 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 BJ's also has a nice selection of watches and diamonds at good prices... Funny thing, anyone remember the article a while back about Sam's club buying fake Fendi bags?
relaxman Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 My wife bought my Omega Seamaster Bond from costco a few years ago for my B-Day. I believe she paid around $950.00 for it. Great watch, life time warranty and the serial #'s are intact unlike some online grey market dealers. MG

Cheers, Jon Like mentioned earlier, Costco will not have the higher end watches on display. I've been to several Costcos in the States and all that is on display are Omegas, Cartiers, Raymond Weils, etc. Unfortunately, no Subs to do some comparisons with my MBW. Again, their prices are as comparable as an AD. At least at the AD, you can negogiate a bit or even trade in a watch.
