Now...i will let the pics speak for themselves my friends...i have also included some comparison pics next to my gen snowflake ... Now...i am about to sent to him a noobfactory 16570 with the CHS and the old case which fits a gen dial for a bezel(the left one is the correct) clarks crystal and dial replacement I will post pics as soon as i got all the parts together and after i get the watch back from Domenico.
Katerchen Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 Superb work Domenico!! And also thanxs a lot to Frank for introducing such a great guy to the board... Now is see what you once told me about the qualities of your watchmaker-guy B/R George
specialvat Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Thank you Domenico for the work you did on my watch, a pleasure to deal with you.
Bricciola Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 Thanks Thank you Domenico for the work you did on my watch, a pleasure to deal with you.
qualitime Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 I'm also verry happy with Domenico's work. There was a problem with my ceramic sub, clone Eta. The power reserve was only 3 hours, but OK now! Thanks again Domenico!
Suchecracks Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 I can strongly recomend Domenico. Thank you so much for the work you did on my 212! It keeps time now spot on and even beats most of my COSC gens. I am afraid I cannot tell you what he did and what I paid for it, because doing this might have two results: 1.) Domenico won't have time for my watches anymore as he well be overrun (if he isn't already) 2.) he will face bankruptcy sooner or later
johzar Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Domi is really the best! I received my watch serviced and the datewheel repaired. I also noticed that the power reserve increased thank to Domenico. He responded to many many e-mails kindly and promptly. I would also like to thank the guy that introduced Domi to this excellent forum. Domi is not just a "watchmaker". He is an engineer.
charmquark Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Can Domi have AR "entspiegelt" added to a watch glass?
Star69 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Can Domi have AR "entspiegelt" added to a watch glass? he can get AR - but i think its "optical - greenish - not blue like on most gens" its your personal taste if you like it - the AR will be much better than stock AR ..... cheers, Frank
drdaz Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Another very happy customer here. Repair of a Carrera Chrono and waterproofing. Previous to Domi looking at it, it was gaining about 1 min / day, now it keeps great time (seems to be < 20 sec / week). It also makes much less noise, the datewheel looks better for some reason (!) and it looks and feels like an altogether healthier watch. He's fast, exceptionally polite and maintains communication well (even sent pictures of the thing disassembled, as well as the damaged parts of the movement). All in all, a pleasure to deal with, and clearly a master of his craft.
rosnik Posted July 17, 2009 Author Report Posted July 17, 2009 Communication to all the repair needed guy. DOMENICO is out for holydays till the 1st of August. If you sent mails to him in the last few days, you'll receive replay only after the 1st of August.
