projectologist
Wanted to say thanks again to member robertb for the beautiful refinishing he did on my 1B franken. Bye-bye CapeCod Cloth... I'm buying myself a bench-mount polishing/buffing setup and learn how to do this!

DemonSlayer
Wheels and compounds are way better at polishing than Cape cod. I swear by compounds and wheels ever since I got them. All the other chemical stuff is stored away and occasionally used for small touch ups on case parts etc.
RWG Technical
Can't beat rouge (green and red) and a nice cotton buffing wheel to get a beautiful shine. Amazing quality workmanship, totally different watch. Wow. RG

Guest avitt
Brobert does some amazing work! The trick is not just polishing wheels and rouge...you have to really know how to use them. (In fact, polishing wheels can quickly ruin the lines of a case, if used incorrectly.) It's obvious that Brobert takes the time and care to tape off the edges, to ensure that, in addition to providing a brilliant finish, he maintains the sharp corners and edges. When it comes to case reconditioning, Brobert is the man!
