Rambo Panerai

I saw in a newspapaer today an article half ridiculing, half praising Stalone for doing another Rambo film. One of the photos, showed him (presumeably on set) with a Panerai strapped to his left wrist. It was a black and white photo, and pretty grainy, so no idea as to dial or strap details, but the D-Shape of the crown guard was unmistakeable. The watch was definitely black (so PVD) and on 'a black strap' (could've been fabric, leather or rubber but impossible to tell) Has anyone else got any info on this watch, or is this an exclusive announcement?

He is doing another Rambo, no [censored]? Wasn't the Rocky enough? Dear Good! :yuk:

BTW I loved first Rambo, but too much is too much, people need to know when to quit...

Next year he is doing 'Over the Top Two' (Let's see who is really a Stallone fan. The first one is arguably one of the worst 'films' ever made.

Here's the pic in question:

That's the one, awesome find, Dario :thumbsupsmileyanim: The one I saw was grainy B&W, that's much better. Still a bit hard to identify definite model features. What's the likelihood he's had another model made like the Slytech?

A ceramic watch -- breaking if you just look at it in anger -- would be perfect to a Rambo life style

Panerai ... history..trivia

1995 ... special edition of watches called SLYTECH is created...SLY is the nickname of actor Sylvester Stallone .. a great admirer of the watch, who had requested a special edition called Submersible to use during the shooting of the movie Daylight... Subsequently, Stallone requested an edition with a white dial, named Daylight, and a personalized reedition of the Mare Nostrum, all of these watches bear the actor's signiture engraved on the back.. copyright ... Officine Panerai...

from Hawaii

Can't tell if it's 44mm or 47mm...I'd suspect Sly to not have the biggest of wrists. ;)

came to Hawaii years ago and worked out one day at World gym .... he is actually like 5 ft. 3 or 4 inches ... amazing what camera angles will do

Hi, I've seen in a Stallone interview that he says this watch is not in circulation but it's definitely a Panerai.

He says it's "anodized casing the type Rambo would use". He refers to it as an old military watch.

I also know that he wore a Roger Dubuis when directing the movie, not acting.

Sorry I don't know more about it.
