Guest Sql_pl Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 (edited) I just got my new EL Ingenieur!! Guys.... I AM SPEECHLESS! I owned LOTS of reps. Lots of best reps on the market. And have to say... if this is not the BEST rep available now then I don't know what is. The weight, the quality, the finish, EVERYTHING is so damn good that if I didn't know about this rep and someone would show me this watch telling it is a gen I would believe! No questions asked. No one will EVER question authenticity of this watch! Looks like we have another rep that is 100% safe to go to an AD with! Here are some quick pics I took for you. Cheers for now! KB Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Aaaahh another one on the must buy list Beautiful watch Maciek Ken
offshore Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Lovely watch, and I am so happy to see it comes standard with the obligatory TRL Must say its VERRRRY tempting, and I haven't bought a rep in years! Offshore
Guest Sql_pl Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Go for it Offshore - you won't regret it for sure!
chubbchubb Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Hey Maciek, VERY, very nice watch.... now I know what happened with my money.... - good choice - enjoy!
swdivad Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Just got mine today as well... My wife says it looks like a Seiko My thoughts are that this is an excellent quality reop that will last for years and years, Not sure what the differences are between rep and gen on the design features are, except for reading in another post about the date font and AR coat... No problem there. The bracelet is excellent and works just like the real deal If only other brands' bracelets used this mechanism for adding and removing links!!! The only thing that upset me with this watch is that the bottom edges of the case are razor sharp... and I'm NOT exaggerating... They are dangerous sharp and must be smoothed down I can't believe that they did such a fine job all around and forgot these edges Besides that, this is a great piece, a little bit of a sleeper, but I'll be wearing it for a few days anyway to get into it. Wear it well M
ryaku Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 (edited) Stop posting such beautiful pics, i'm drooling on my keyboards I can't get a watch and the same day plan to get another one, it's INSANE. Edited September 29, 2006 by ryaku
fitmic Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 I'm not a big fan of IWC, but that's one h3ll of a nice piece. Think I am going to order that one. Damn you for showing me the pics!
Dani Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Bro i told you its the BOMB Great pics
PAMman Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Looks fantastic, and great photos. I haven't seen any price listed anywhere........how much?????
watcher Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Received mine today from River and fully agree that this is the very best rep yet to be made straight out of the box!!! I think also that there is a small amount of AR on the crystal but not as much as an OEM model. Stunning!!!
ridnwind Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Congrats! I just got mine from Eddie and it's SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!! The OEM version of this watch came out in 2005, so there are not many around. Anyway, the Inge is a modern sports watch built like a vault! I noticed the steel really glows in the sunlight. It's the Mercedes S500 of watches! Cheers, Brad

Watchmeister Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Well it starts with a 3. Gotta give the dealer wiggle room.
kasigi Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Can someone measure the bracelet out of the box please (well I guess the bracelet plus the watch, what's the total circumference?) I want this, but only if it's going to fit me.
krustybrand Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Thanks for the pics. They've answered all the concerns I may have had when I first saw EL's pics. Now I know I will need one. Fortunately, I've just been given a work assignment with an unlimited overtime budget for the next 6 months.
Estaban Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 I can't take my eyes off this watch. Stunning. Clean lines, beautiful dial, ETA movement. What more can you ask.
Guest Sql_pl Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 I know what you mean. It was hard for me to concentrate on the road while driving today as I couldn't take my eyes off the Ingy! STUNNING watch!

We are now planning to get there in winter - around february to enjoy some sun. Maybe we will have an opportunity for a small GTG? Cheers Maciek
