Hi, so this will be my first post here on a replica Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 36. I thought i would share my thoughts on this low-end replica watch. And of course post some pictures I bought this watch from Priceangels as an experiment, but because of its superb design (for me the dial and brown and white contrast) I started using it as my daily "beater". So for the first months it held up great and it harvested lots of compliments. But suddenly the dial-ring (turning part located over the watch-face) pusher/control fell off and rendered useless. But I liked the design so I made some effort to repair it and kept using it. Another sign of the low-end watch was that the Chronograph function never worked - Hence it being a a21 movement. On the positive side, the whole dial was beautiful with nice details and good print and carvings. Whenever my friends checked it out they didn't even consider that it was fake. And i was impressed as well. And maybe not in the replica world, but otherwise the most important function: Timekeeping was very precise a few seconds +/- each day and i could comfortably trust its timekeeping. In addition the power reserve surprised me with about 16h. Otherwise the watch lens produced almost no reflections which made it great in sunny conditions, but i think a plastic material was used so scratch resistance wasn't great. Furthermore the date function was fully working and easy to adjust. Which meant that the two key elements of this watch was working and the watch was doing its primary job. In conclusion it was/is a great looking watch with an elegant leather strap (though not of highest quality) an exquisite dial and accurate timekeeping. This was a great short term daily beater, but due to its quality this watch is not in it for the long run. I'll leave my first post with some pictures for you to admire its design. Best regards -C/P Ps. Is there a review of the Omega Seamaster 300m chronograph Ceramic, in BLUE?1 point

I've got a RG RC ROO secs @ 12 winging its way to me, and it's going straight to Francisco when it arrives for the movement upgrade, service and a lume. Question is - do I get the AR done? I know the gen doesn't have any AR, but there are many pics on this forum of watches that have been modded in this way and they look impressive. Dilemma.....1 point

As you all probably know, we are unable to offer our members to pay and upgrade their memberships. Untill we have a solution in place, we will add free memberships to the members who have lost their status and are unable to pay. We will also open up the trade area for posting to regular members with a minimum post count as thing were earlier. Again, I apologize for all the inconvenience these things cause, but unfortunately, we are in a business that doesn't seem to be very popular with the payment providers we are able to apply to. If you have lost your VIP/Plati/Diamond status, please PM me and I will add a free 1 month membership to your account.1 point

In your infinite free time please brush up on English. I had to read your post a few times to piece together your fragmented thoughts. I will say its nice to know the real reason you have been so sketchy with communications, a nice new comfy job dealing with the level headed owners of genuine watches. I know the gen watch owners will be THE perfect clients. Uz r3p watch ownerz R just n0t g00d peeps. Try pulling some of the crap you pulled on this forum with a client face to face. This thread became a [censored] storm because you lacked the skills to manage 17 watches and forward appropriate communications to those owners. You can really test a persons character in tough situations. We can CLEARLY see the type of man you are given your less then professional responses and general [censored] poor attitude, and with that said this forum is going to be better off without you. All that is left to say is good riddance Mike.1 point

I am working on something and hopefully, I will have something available in a week or 2 depending on how lon the validation process is to get approval from a couple payment providers. Will most likely be on CC payments available and it will not be integrated in to the forum software, so I will manually have to upgrade members, but it's better than nothing. I'll get back with more news as soon as I can share more.1 point

Mike Communication in any business is the key to success, or indeed failure, your lack of communication and consistant ingnoring of confirmation, tracking and so on left me with no alternative than to share my experience with you. You have no one else to blame but yourself and I thought long and hard before posting anything on the forum and the advise I recieved from everyone I spoke to including some guys that know you personally said if he doesn't respond, then post in the thread. If as you say you posted the watch I bought from you last Thursday/Friday I make that the 5th or 6th Sept then I have two questions for you, 1) why did it take from the 27th August to post it and 2) why have you not responded to the several emails I have sent you requesting tracking information? The only true way to gauge a person is to 'Judge them by what they do, not what they say' and unfortunately I believe that you cannot help yourself Mike, you have shown yourself as being a compulsive liar. Man, I dunno. It just looks off somehow. Besides the fact I'd never own a watch with a flat crystal, to my jaded eye this thing lacks the elegance of the Big Crown. It's like the shape of a Jaguar E Type compared to a BMW Z4. A real piece of art is separated from cave drawings by subtleties. Anyone can draw a clunky diver case. But it took a maestro to design the swoop and curve of the original. That's the first step where this went wrong, IMHO.1 point

It's normal. QC pics are nice, but they don't zoom in enough to really tell if there is a defect. It's just nice to see the numbers on the QC pics and when the watch arrives it has the same numbers so you know they did some sort of QC. China delivery services aren't on par with the rest of the world. Sometimes they get updated, most of the time they don't. Just be patient, you'll get the package.1 point

Its perfectly normal, In my (short) experience TDs always request that you do not post QC pictures on the forum. I recently purchased a watch from a TD which was sent via DHL, it can take up to 3 or 4 days for the DHL system to be updated wih the tracking info but rest assured it will be, my watch was delivered in 8 days from receiving QC pics (QC pics 01/09, delivered to UK 09/09)1 point

Yes, and one of them is Philippe the vintage guru, I just read that they actually used a batch of nos 8mm crowns from the 50's that's insane I really want one of these now1 point

It would be so much better if it had a gilt dial but it's nice, they did a good job1 point

I would suggest that this is an issue created by badly fitted date or day wheels and the inability of the Chinese to fit the retaining washer that holds the day wheel in place, proper refitting should solve it twinned with a service maybe1 point

msrp is $230 for a 24/22mm (same msrp as for calf straps). That's what it will cost at a Boutique or AD.1 point
