  1. My apologies Mike. Now that you write it in all caps I see that you are serious. Never did I state you were scamming members by not returning thier watches, but questioned the decision and what that reflects about you by your actions on Facebook regarding the previously mentioned for sale post that occured on September 1 (three weeks ago), at a time when several issues by members were still being raised here. But just to recap on your comments above so it is clear. You categorize your Facebook post as an advertisement for your business, even though the post was very clear you had watches for sale and needed to move some of them because you had your eye on another one. Check. You think it is perfectly fine to list replica watches for sale and advertise reps on a non-replica forum and mainstream site like Facebook. Check. You also think it is acceptable that in addition to the two that were your property listed for sale, include several other members' replica watch property without their knowledge for use as a sales tactic to generate more interest in your for sale post, all the while owners of that property were not getting adequate or acceptable communication on the status of their service and status unknown to them as exhibited in ad nauseum in this thread. Check. It was a priority for you to sell a couple of watches (regardless of where) so you could fund another nice watch purchase you had your eye on, all while you had a mountain of unanswered questions and issues with current work here that required your attention. Check. I guess we know where you stand in this regard and it is clear. Soooooo, things are getting back to normal and people are getting their property back. And Mike will be a recommended modder/smith here after the backlog is cleared? At a loss of words on that one. But too bad he has blacklisted me though, because I just don't know what I am going to do when my cheap rep breaks and no one to fix it... Also check your facts on the other board bannings MD. You are NOT (caps for emphasis) banned on the other RWG. Login and see for your self.

  5. That is not true at all. No one else's property was listed as 'For Sale' in an ad nor any other way on Facebook, nor anywhere else. I saw his post. Why make up this garbage? In fact, it looks to me that there is quite a bit of fabricated garbage in this thread. Has anyone done a quick tally of all the claimed watches Mike is supposed to have had to repair? And when someone manned up and admits he attacked and was out of line with a snoot-full of beer, that gets attacked? Quite a few of these posts read like piling on, fabricated stories, unreasonable and impatient requests, and flat out lies. I'd suggest it stop. This is RWG. Not some flaming message board with watches as an after thought.

  6. I dont deserve that guys but thank you.. I learnt from many great guys on here who arent around much now.. His pics are very deliberate...notice the way he is avoiding the DW shot... I bet if you see that its a very thin font DW and under magnified cyclops ... but there is so much more with this...yuck yuck.... and no originality in the story...my uncle gave it to me !! Why not ...While I was travelling on holiday to the pacific.. my plane crashed.... I was the only survivor... I could see the wreckage laying on the coral reef several miles out and spent several weeks trying to recover what ever I could from it...while sifting through the plane wreckage I found this watch attached to the pilots joystick...it was still working and I took it ...I was on that island for 8 years...and during that time the watch never missed a beat ..I wore it every day even when diving for my meagre food rations.... I was rescued by a holiday cruise ship for lesbians..... on which I spent 3 months as the only man on there...When I got home I tried to find the family of that pilot but after searching for many long years I finally tracked them down and they told me that the pilot would want me to have it.... but unfortunately they had thrown away all the boxes and papers as they never thought they would see that watch again..... and now the only reason I am selling this wonderful watch is because I am trying to raise money for starving slave children in Africa ... so please bid high knowing that your money is going to a wonderful cause !!.... The lesson to anyone reading this and that should always be taken from these scammers..whether you know the gens or not... If you feel the need to ask the question then its always better to walk away...

  8. Personally, i find one of the nicest looking combinations to be the 111 on OEM black croc strap and OEM deployant. The pam deployant is not the most comfortable however, if you're lookinf for comfort, i would go for just the normal buckle type strap. here's mine: Works on my 250 as well:

  9. No, the datewheel's position is set by the calendar ring, which is screwed onto the pillar plate. If the date is misaligned in the window, most likely either the date window in the dial was cut wrong, you have the wrong calendar ring or the date wheel is printed incorrectly.

  14. After replacing a faulty double corrector on a 7750-GMT movement, the quicksetting for date and GMT sometimes work and sometimes the double corrector doesn't seem to engage with either the DW or the GMT gear. It's like the spring isn't properly connected to the double corrector to put it back in place. I also suspect the double corrector to work a bit different than on a standard 7750, so I have no reference on how to install it properly. Does anyone have a picture showing how to install the double corrector and connect it with the spring attached on the date plate? In what order do I install the date plate, DW, GMT gear and double corrector?
