  1. Someone like me? What is that supposed to mean? Please keep the insults to yourself. Mods, I understand that JoeyB is a modder here, and invented the replacement plastic insert thing for classic Rolex but even a fool can see the terrible trouble he's causing in this thread. He's obviously getting great pleasure from disrupting the flow of necessary communications between the people who's been grievously affected by the issue at hand. Plain and simple, it appears that he is trolling this thread for his own enjoyment.

  2. Joey, I am in no way interested in what you have to say and will leave it at that. Guys "don't feed the troll" he is irrelevant to the matter at hand .

  3. Why is it that everyone except JoeyB is trying to not argue? Why is JoeyB talking over all the legitimate participants in this thread? You can't drown out the truth, JoeyB. You can try, but you're only showing everyone here who you are. Everyone is watching this .. haven't you damaged your reputation enough, yet?

  4. Hi guys, When my pvd’d parts arrived from Rolli I found included in the package his PAM 002/009 dial for my review and I must share this with you because this dial is in one word spectacular!!!! Rolli (known for his extended knowledge on PAM’s and for his services like pvd coating) and FGD (known for his pre-v dials) have partnered up some time ago and together they are working on small series of OEM quality dials (with matching hand sets). About the dial; as you can see it's thick and made out of one piece; a special brass alloy (not your ordinary brass). The entire process to give the dial it’s spetacular color is pretty intense; the special brass alloy has been given a fine glass bead blasting followed by a galvanic bath. This is the only way to really create the various color shades like black, blue, champagne, silver and green when sunlight hits the dial. The indices (0.5mm deep) and printing are very well done, the lume (a beautifull burned out tritium color, superluminova A-grade rc tritec) is applied very evenly by the best machinery you can wish for! It has the beauty of the vintage tritium look (the color I believe is custom made for Rolli) and all the advantages of superluminova; it glows like a torch at night The hands also have superluminova A-grade lume (also made by rc tritec). Rolli and FGD have been working with top of the bill machinery and the result is a top of the bill, truly OEM quality dial which is unprecedented in our little community! For more information regarding these dials you can contact FGD http://www.rwgforum.net/user/5292-fishgodeep/ Enough talk Enjoy the pictures :)

  5. If you are planning to get a watch coated or just trying to decide if a coated rep has the shade of coating you're looking for... then making that decision with only pics to go by is no guarantee that what you see when the package arrives is what you were hoping for. Here are 3 pics of the same watch I had coated last week. As you can see, depending on the light source, the same finish can go from a lighter silver gray to a deep charcoal gray and a medium shade in between. If you study pics online of the PVD coated PreV models, you will see these same differences. Pic taken with morning daylight for the light source... Pic taken under a daylight temp fluorescent ring light... Pic taken under a neutral color LED light...

  10. Joey, here is something you did miss (before you got a twist in your panties over the word 'idiot'). Something GBOGH pointed out already... A person who posts pictures of replica watches on Facebook with the implication that they are genuine, or post pictures of replicas on Facebook to sell them as genuine, or post pictures of replicas on Facebook to attract business customers - along with a comment like: 'Do you have a high end watch that doesn't run or want to sell email me. I specialize in high end repair and restoration of vintage watches. Rolex, Breitling,Omega ect.' Is either a ) a scammer and fraud or b ) a phony I don't think our community needs either and as far as I'm aware this is a violation of these rules (genuine time piece forum or Facebook - talking about attention, the result is the same) you hold so highly. [26] - NO replica pictures should be posted on the genuine time piece forums by the members of RWG. A violation of this rule will get you permanently banned. Our little underground hobby does not need this kind of attention. So instead of getting on everyones nerves by arguing over stupid nonsense, you should be aware who is really breaking this boards rules and what should happen, once all watches have been returned - repaired. That's some facts from an unbiased member of this community.

  11. Gentlemen Nanuq has set up a multi PM system amongst members whom are still seeking communication in regard to their watches. If you have been missed as I see Scotty was ( sorry mate, but at the post now so not an issue) contact Nanuq to get access to multi PM system. This will enable all interested parties to communicate in an open manor much like a thread but is not for general viewing/posting. Naturally Mike is included on the access list so he can talk to the guys in regard. (I will text him to make sure he is aware) PS Fraggle and other thoughtful members who have worked with me privately on this matter please feel free to PM me with any relevant info you would like to share, I will of course foreword to the group.

  12. Looks great Serge. In fact I have just gained one of your straps and it is a great strap and came on a PAM 082. My PAM029 is fitted with a genuine PAM Croc with contrast stitch and is simply the best I have ever seen which i guess is why they cost as much as the watch! AJ

  13. I cannot believe this thread is still active. If you do not have a pony in this race (that is, you are not personally awaiting the return of a watch from MD2020), please leave this thread to those who do (are). Regardless of what behind-the-scenes information you may or may not have, I think it would be best to leave MD2020 & his customers to sort everything out without the collateral chatter.
