  1. the link you sent shows it has an asian 2813 movement, thats the slower 21.6K bpm one. the link says it has the new bracelet style clasp. from what i can see in the pictures its very likely and would say yes. if you want the faster beat 28.8bpm movement you'll have to find the same model with the "asian 2836" it's usually listed above or below the slower beat one, but will add $50-$100 on the price.

  3. Guys, Please take time to read the new sales rules, modified to allow non VIP members to post watches for sales as well, (limited to a value of $199 for non-VIP members). Please do be reminded at any sales can be deleted at the crew's discretion if we are uncomfortable in any way with the watch, the seller or the listing. I would also like to take the opportunity to ask members from trying to sell in chats or PMs, or to establish your own sales channel for dealing in watches or non-watch items like leather goods. We are talking about regularly buying multiple brand new watches or products and selling them here, in quantity instead of individually. We would be tightening up in this aspect where necessary to protect the community. Other than the above, please feel free to drop by the sales area, read the new sales rules, and enjoy yourselves! 6. I can understand measuring the inside of the case is a good way to assess the difference, but the outside will not be right as the gen has been worn and might be polished. The lugs are quite thin and the CG has definitely been thinned out due to wear and maybe polishing. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk

  7. Once more, I always thought there are too many inconsistencies with buying the extremely expensive hand shaped cases. But I'm probably wrong because why would the inside be off where there is no hand shaping? We really need to just directly CNC or 3d print cases with perfect specs.

  8. here's what I believe is referred to a MKIV these days- similar to your dial. This dial came from VRF- 2.38 mil SN. I don't think yours is that bad a dial- I do see serifs on the SCOC printing which you don't see on the gen. I also think it's not cost effective to build a $5-6K rep and I've quit putting Rolex movements in my watches- it's getting harder and harder to find parts for these old 1575 movements. I think it's better to just save up $10K and buy a real red sub.
