It is actually a spring bar that has two small sleeves that cover it on either side of the 'post' -- i have ordered a selection of diameter bars from The Watch Prince and will report back -- I have the two side sleeves, but the actual spring bar has bent ...
yeah, i know it's 22 mm, i meant the diameter of the actual spring bar -- like, is it 1 mm, or 2 mm thick? all the ones that i have won't fit through the hole in the buckle
what is the correct diameter spring bar to fit inside a panerai deployant clasp (on the semi-circular end)?
I have had one just bend and I can't find a suitable replacement anywhere in my box of tricks...
Additionally, where might one procure said appropriately sized springbar?
I just got one of these in a 222, i assume it is the same movement in the 090 (date quick chagne button at 8 oclock on the case)
It is changing the date at 9 pm instead of midnight. Any idea if this is common? Fixable?
I'm fully aware of the historical paint names; however, in the context of this fellow's question, it seemed more relevant to note that, as he was looking for a 1950, this is not an accurate replica, and would not be without serious distressing and aging; and even then, it would be the wrong size...
Sorry guys, have been really busy... the last specification was not 'round' enough -- i can't understand why they are having such trouble copying a crystal that i physically sent to them... i will keep everyone posted as i'm looking for another supplier...
hmm... mine appears to be DOA... unless there is some trick to getting this movement started... i've got a full wind and a power reserve at 40... no tick tick tick tick and no movement with the back off...
edit, eddie's sending another... top-class service.
