  1. Nope, would fall asleep from boredom over there. I could not even hang out there for parts. I agree with your comment below, about reps are just that, close but not exact. Just feel that it kind of adds to the "Blackbird" theme IMO and is much easier to create over what they have done. Subdials of the reps, have concentric circles like the rest of the Chronomat line. Where the gen is just flat.
  2. It is nothing more then the advertisement for the B01. Nothing special. You can download it from Breitlings site.
  3. Wonder why the rep manufactures never got the subdials right?
  4. Very nice! Almost bought this one, but went for the Overload III instead! How is the CF quality? Think I am going to have to get this one next.
  5. Most US dealers will do 20%-25% off, however you can get burned on this. I bought a Breilting Emergency Mission 6-7 years ago while on skiing in Canada. At the time, the exchange rate was $1.70CAD, with the discount and the exchange rate I got the watch for about half the cost of buying it in the USA. BUSA would not honor the warranty as my registration was from a Canadian Dealer filled out with a US address. Read breiltingsource as there is some talk about Breilting doing this to discourage people taking advantage of exchange rates. They is also why dealers in different regions can only give a certain level of discount. If they find out you are not a US resident, they my not allow for a 20%-25% discount. Understand this comes from Breitling and not the AD.
  6. Here is the link to my SOH with bracelet. As krpster noted the construction is different with the absences of the removable links. Also, the rep bracelets mesh is much finer. I can post more pics later if interested.
  7. A very fine oil is to be used on the rotor bearing. A very small amount. Over oiling will cause the oild to spread elsewhere into the movement. This is very easily done if you have never serviced a movement before. A small drop (and I mean the tiny amount on the tip of a fine dip oiler) should be placed on the bearing balls. As the rotor moves the oil will be distributed through out.
  8. Love the simplicity of the Millenary Carbon One Tourbillon Chronograph!
  9. Truly love this piece, just a little on the pricey side for a Rep. Thanks for the pics
  10. The is the Pro 2 Bracelet and the Pro 2 Diver. The Pro 2 Diver does not have "BREITLING" spelled on it, and has a deplyoment clasp like the Ocean Racer (The one with the holes)
  11. A HackR tease....Mounted up a new BlackBard strap this morning on a old school Pam 196. Did not have time to snap a few pics until now.
  12. This is very typical of our movements. They are lubricated very poorly if at all. This can be corrected by a watchsmith easily. The rotor has to spin in both directions. You could not lock it form spinning in its non-winding direction and have it still function as it should. A7750's wind Clockwise.
  13. 38.45mm is the large diameter of the threads for the caseback that is needed.
  14. NONE, IMO! The SA belongs on a bracelet only. I have a gen Blue baton SA, I put it on a blue croco, blue leather and ProDiver for about 5 minutes each and hated it. The blue croco is really blue. Like ghetto blue! The SA's just does not look right or feel right on anything other then a bracelet. If you are set on getting a ProDiver, go to a AD. Ebay, and ALL the online stores are WAY overpriced! You can get a Pro1 from a AD for around $110. They are $130 list!
  15. I would not mind some vintage pieces! Or some reps with the Panemerican bronze dial color like on the Datora.
  16. ISSUE RESOLVED!!!! FINALLY! Pressed the pallet fork shaft down slightly to raise the pallet fork to the impulse stone, as the impulse stone was as low as it could go. Also found out the lower balance staff had busted and gotten stuck into the jewel cap assembly. This made it look the as if the staff was good and attached to the balance. Replaced the balance after the fork adjustments and the movement fired right up and ran like a thoroughbred in all positions! Thanks for the help guys!
  17. Wow thanks for taking all the time to transfer all the information here!
  18. Does it matter if the blue color is slightly off to the Gen? Unless you are going to hold the Gen & rep side by side, no one is going to know.
  19. $480 is just for the strap! The deployment is another $240! Yep, $720 for the set up. Overpriced you may think, but go feel one and you will understand how and why they charge so much. There a several other sites like Panatime that sell Breitling deployment style straps for a lot less. Just pay attention because there is
  20. Another one that will fit the wrist perfectly! Love it!
  21. My money is on the P.999 is the replacement for the 6497.
