  1. +1. Always have said, if you don
  2. You are correct Andreww, the rider tabs on the Gen are integrated. From what I have been told, Breilting did this as the rider tabs catching on shirt sleeves was a big customer complaint.
  3. Thought the same as you, until my AD showed them to me side by side and pointed out all the differences. Mostly in the case, but showed how the angle cut in the bracelet was less.
  4. The B01 has a different bracelet. The diagonal cut is less for the B01 model. Don
  5. Only the A7750 with the 3,6,9 Subdial layout has the sunken DW issue. The SOHC, has 6,9,12 Subdials, so there is no sunken DW issue as this movement is unmodified with the transfer gears to move the 12 subdial to 3.
  6. We all knew the DW was going to be sunken. Is it the pic, or do the lume indices look like a disaster?
  7. Not recently. Back in the lat 70's. In 1979 Ernest Schneider, a pilot and watch nut like most of us, took over control of Breitling from the founder's Grandson, Willy Breitling.
  8. There is a small powerful magnet inside each of the chrono pusher. When the pusher is pressed it moves the magnet closer to another magnet that is held inside of the case. This causes pressure against the chrono start/stop/reset circuits on the movement. Remember magnets repel each other when the same poles oppose one another. This repelling causes the added pressure needed to function the chrono when the pusher is depressed. Since there is no hole drilled through the case for a traditional chrono pusher to pass through, no water can get into the case during chrono usage.
  9. Nothing special IMO. Just another BS version. Waiting for Breitling to do more with their B01 Movement.
  10. Here you go. Feel free to ask for more. Blue Shark Gen Blue Croco. Blue Pro Diver
  11. Congrats! The Blue SOSF goes great on blue Pro Diver as well as blue leather/croc strap. Very versatile piece. You will notice that the rep dial is very flat and does not have the "light bowties" that reflect through the gen.
  12. Was wondering the same thing!
  13. I have a set of these. Nicely made and priced. Cuff Links
  14. No dice! Swung by my AD on Friday to pick up my cleaned SA and asked my dealer who called his Breitling rep and put him on speaker phone
  15. Before venturing to you AD for one of these beauties, ask yourself if you are willing to spend $400-$600 every 2 years on it? This is Breiltings service request due to the Dassault-transmitter in it. I have never heard (even though I am sure they exists) anyone outside of Breilting that will replace the batteries. New these pieces were $6225. You might be able to get 30%+ off on one of these pieces if you have a AD that you have bought from in the past. If not, plan the AD playing the "It is a discontinued model" card.
  16. This model was discontinued after 2008. AD's still have them but the are at least 2 years old now, so they should be giving a fairly nice discount on them.
  17. Man, seeing this makes me miss my Alpina. Had the white faced one. Think I need to start looking at getting another one.
  18. I keep being told that the subdial spacing on the B01 is slightly further inboard on the dial then the 7753 spacing. Similar to the POC.
  19. Will do. Just waiting on some new skinz from the great BlackBard to arrive and Sixx's top 5.
  20. You have a Pro2 bracelet or a Pilots bracelet? The bracelet on the Blackbird is not a Pro2 and is not a standard Pilot bracelet as it is a unique bracelet.
  21. I think they would as well...as long as they get to charge you for a full service and inspection too like when you want a dial change!
  22. So what rap video should we look for you in?
