  1. Thanks guys! I have done 2 more A7750's since. Must say the Asian movements are a lot more challenging, which makes it fun for me. The ETA's you just put together and they run. Not so with the Asian movements. I actually slowly have been doing it. I have a couple members watches with me now. I just don't have the time to do it with a full time job. So I can not do quick turn arounds like Z can.
  2. Graham Over Lord III on BlackBard's Tallahassee Gator w/ red stitching strap.
  3. I saw that yesterday as well from Breitling…Like it!...just wish it was more the Steelfish size of 44mm…42 is too small for me. Don’t know if I like Breilting carrying over the font from the B01 though.
  4. Never taken the bracelet of my Gen BCE, so I can not comment. If it is like every other Breilting, it will be finished to remove all machine markers and polished.
  5. Anyone got the ISO number for QC in the Rep World?
  6. Is the "diameter" too big for the strap or the holes in the Deployment? If it will not fit into the deployment, then just drill the holes bigger.
  7. Better shaped teeth would correct the AP ROO issue and make it smoother, but we can not expect they would do this. I don
  8. Nope, not has of yet, same goes for the Flyback movement.
  9. Easy fix. Jut need a adjustment on the 30min "Trigger" (Don
  10. Pam 172 today with new 6mm thick black oil rubbed leather strap from BlackBard.
  11. I am with By-Tor. Rep tested first then move to the Gen. Some times this has been less then a day others times it has been a year. Some times too, I buy the rep to keep me happy until the gen is available, when I know it had me at my first look. Some piece like B&R's that are just not worth the money IMO, are perfect for my rep collection.
  12. The Breilting Motif, anchor, automatic movement and every thing else you mentioned are easily replicated even to the worst degree of quality. What is not easily replicated it the functionality of the tourbillion movement. The display of a balance wheel does not cut it. Check out some videos on Youtube under “Tourbillion” and you can see first hand how these movements function and why they have a 6 figure price tag attached to them. To answer your question “Surely they wouldn,t go to that much trouble. Would they??” Yes they would! Not with this model, but with others yet. Take the Breilting Super Ocean Steel Fish. One of the best out of the box Reps around. Has been for some time. I along with other have seen many of these Bentley Tourbillions. I actually used to work with a guy that tried telling me his was real and swore buy it. I did not call him out as if it makes him happy then that is all the matters. Just like if you like the watch, then that is all the matters. FYI
  13. Yes I do sir. White was the first one and does not get worn much since getting the blue one.
  14. A re-lume job from the great Z.
  15. Highly doubt anything is better other then the fact you get a Gen ETA 7750. that is going to be the only difference. The factories are not going to refine the watch any better because you have a gen. movement. Me personally, I am fine with the A7750 movements, it is a rep after all.
